Perfect stay with in Borel hotel. Ok hotel has a lot of minuses but facing their hospitality other things are not important at all. Everyone is very kind and helpful. Perfect reception service. Rooms are comfortable. Hotel is quite although located in city centre. Internet works well. Breakfast very good. Just perfect stay.

We booked through Booking.com but it would have been better maybe to book directly to avoid confusion. We were given a smallish room overlooking a noisy street and there were lots of niggly little things wrong. Plastic spoons, no milk, no drawers, tear in the curtain, refurbishment going on which made corridors look like a workplace, noisy... we complained and...

A very pleasant centrally located hotel. Not particularly exciting exterior but inside nicely decorated and furnished. The reception staff were very pleasant and friendly and spoke excellent english. The lift was a little cramped and slow but still fine. The corridors well lit on auto switches and very nicely decorated . Rooms very well appointed and comfortable. Although my room...

I have stayed twice at the Borel now. It's a nice hotel and looks better from the inside than the outside. Reception is French/English, nice and friendly. Rooms are clean and have a decent finish but do need air conditioning. If the sun is on your window it is hard work due to the seagull noise outside. It's not a...

Given European standards and is location this hotel is not bad! The common areas have been recently renovated and look modern and clean. The rooms are just OK, old and dated but at least vey clean and comfortable. Big problem: NO AC so if you are there in a hot summer day, you will not like it! This would be...

This four star hotel, for me, is a three star one. In fact the first floor will be renovated soon. However, the staff is very friendly and the breakfast very good. The room despite being a little bit too small is very comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Borel. The room was very clean, the bed was perfect and we had a view of the marina from our window. Each time I had laundry service my clothes were returned promptly and folded nicely. The Hotel has a great location with a five minute walk to the center of town. The...

Breakfast is okay, but we have seen better. Bathroom and WC are located in separate rooms. Front desk did us feel at home. As others have said, outside looks a bit tainted. Inside is much higher standard. Location is centrally located Recommended.

Having occasionally used roughly 6 or 7 "affordable''' hotels in Dunkirque, I went to Hotel Borel as the 'cheap' places were are fully booked. And surprise, the price for a room was less than 10 euro more expensive. And the room was really what a hotel room should look like. In a nutshell, this is (for me so far) the...
