we enjoyed our stay here, the front desk was very kind and helpful. It is in an excellent location, 5 min walk to tapestry, cathedral and right on the main street for restaurants and bars. Only complaint was wireless only in the lobby, highly recommend the churchill if you would like a convenient hotel in the heart of bayeux

My friends and I loved the town of Bayeux, and this hotel made it even better! We used Bayeux as our base for exploring the D-Day sights in Normandy, and we found the city to be perfect. Hotel Churchill is located in the middle of the city, with all the sights easily accessible on foot, and plenty of restaurants around...

Central location, clean rooms, and pleasant staff - all the essentials for a pleasant vacation stay. Parking lot behind the hotel is small, so it fills up quickly. In early June, we were able to find other parking close by. WiFi is only available in the lobby area, and was spotty while we were there.

The Churchill is centrally located with a delightful staff headed by the husband and wife owners. Situated on rue Saint-Jean, it is across the street from the famous Bayeux tapestry museum, on the same street as a multitude of wonderful restaurants, and within walking distance of almost everything in town. Free parking and an excellent breakfast (10 euros pp) are...

We spent 5 nights at this lovely hotel. It was clean, comfortable and very well located in the center of town making everything easily accessible. The bathroom had been recently renovated and was modern and spotless. The staff went out of their way to help in any way possible. There is no elevator, so pack light as you have to carry...

I would recommend this charming hotel if you intend to tour the D-Day Beaches. While the hotel and the rooms are small, they are comfortable. Our room 106, one flight up, had new bathroom, a king sized bed and 3 huge windows that looked down onto the dining room, however, there was no air conditioning - something you must request...

I would recommend this hotel to anyone. We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights this May, mainly as a base for the D Day Tours, but also to see the Tapestry and the Cathedral. The location is excellent for all of these things as many Tours start from the hotel and the Tapestry and Cathedral are a 5 minute...

We stayed here last week for three days. The town of Bayeux is beautiful. It's so quaint. Loaded with restaurants and cafes and history. It's the perfect location for getting to some awesome sites. The Hotel Churchill is very nice. We were very excited to stay here as Rick Steves had nothing but wonderful things to say about it. It...

My husband and I spent a few days at the hotel in conjunction with our D-Day tours. There were many Americans at the hotel, which is not necessarily bad, but expect to hear a lot of English and see a lot of iPads. Our room was toward the front of the hotel, on the street side. Contrary to the information...

First thing to comment on here is the fantastic service provided by Josiane. My partner took ill during our 2 night stay and needed to spend the day in the hotel room. Josiane arranged for my partner to visit an english speaking doctor within walking distance of the hotel and also assisted with some food for lunch. Bottom line is...
