Stayed for 3 nights and had a fabulous stay. The guesthouse is right in the heart of Bayeux literally in the shadow of its beautiful cathedral and a 5 minute walk from the legendary tapestry. There are also a number of restaurants within easy walking distance - I would recommend Le Petit Normand. The guesthouse is set in a lovely...

We stayed at Hotel Tardif Noble Guesthouse for one night and were warmly greeted by its young owner who was very nice and helpful at all times. The hotel is a beautiful 17th century stone building, perfectly situated a few steps from the Bayeux Tapestry museum, the Cathedral and the most recommended restaurants in town. Since we were travelling with...

My wife and I stayed for a night at Hotel Tardif Noble Guesthouse. It is a tranquil spot, opposite the cathedral. Tardif Noble is a magnificent 17th century building with an extraordinarily beautiful staircase, a grand courtyard and park-like grounds. It was a moving experience to stay there and we enjoyed it very much. Our room had an unusual antique...

After attending a wedding in Paris, we wanted to tour Normandy and the beaches. The description of this hotel by Rick Steves appealed to me and we were so happy that we decided to stay here. Upon arrival, Anthony greeted us, helped us with our luggage, parked the car ( it was nice to have a safe area to park)...

My husband has been reluctant to stay in B&Bs due to some uncomfotable situations we've had in the US. This place has convinced him that B&Bs can actually be real gems! Easy to find, perfectly situated in Bayeux, convenient to walking the town, and the friendliest host around, Le Tardid Noble Guesthouse was just perfect for us. Our room was...

We spent 3 nights in Bayeux, with 2 days of touring the beaches and museums. Anthony was so helpful and we enjoyed staying here. It is very close to the Cathedral, the Bayeux Tapestry museum and a few minutes walk into the center of the city. It was perfect, very comfortable and we had a good breakfast each morning. We...

A fabulous two night stay in this wonderful guesthouse. We had a groundfloor room so able to drive the car right to the door to offload luggage. Large comfortable room, beautifully furnished in antiques, yet modern large bathroom (2 basins a plus). Couldn't believe it when we stepped out of the gates and there was the magnificent Cathedral at our...

We stayed at Hotel Tardif last fall. We didn't realize it was a B&B when we booked and aren't B&B people, but really enjoyed our stay. Anthony was a helpful, friendly host, and his dog, Atlas, was a real sweetie. We would've missed seeing William the Conqueror's castle, which we thought was really neat, if Anthony hadn't asked us about...

Stayed at this B& B. It should not have hotel in its title. Gentleman who ran the place had bad temper. Constantly reprimanding our group for not following his directions, which were vague. I ask for a wake up call. He informed me that this was a home not a hotel. Rude. He had told me to put my bags...

Dear Madam, It's always a shame when people simply summarize a story with negative things to report only, and totally forget positive ones. It's true that things didn't start well... You had booked online, through a famous reservation website, 3 DOUBLE rooms for 6 people and were of course given 3 Double rooms. You arrived as 5 people instead of...

Fantastic location! Gated parking practically next door to the tapestry exhibition. The hotel is very welcoming -- as is the host, who speaks perfect English. Of course, the town is within walking distance, so you can park your car and forget it -- if you want to! The room was very comfortable and very clean. We only had 2 nights...
