I can't think of a single bad thing to say about this place, the welcome is warm, it is a short walk away from the City centre, breakfast is an event in itself which offers all the best local produce served beautifuly and it is run and maintained by two people who care passionately about what they do and for...

We could only spend one night in Bayeux and are very glad that it was at Clos de Bellefontaine. The house is beautiful and within easy walking distance of the main street, the Tapestries and the Cathedral. Our host Carole is a friendly and happy women who welcomed us warmly and provided lots of information about her charming little city....

we spent 3 nights here. Very well prepared breakfast served every morning. Room was very clean--not luxurious but very comfortable. Hospitality was warm and very helpful.

This is a wonderful B & B with the two quest bedrooms and lounge being separate from the rest of the house .It has secure off street parking and is an easy 10 minute walk to the centre of Bayeux. Only stayed one night to attend Normandy Sightseeing tour the next day, but found the place delightful. Very good breakfast, helpful hosts. Lovely home. Easy access to city and sights.

Clos de Bellefontaine was a winner in so many ways, it's hard to know where to start. The house is elegant yet comfortable. The breakfast room is beautifully decorated, and breakfast was delicious. The B&B is located in a perfect situation for walking into Bayeux, and also for driving to the D-Day beaches. More than anything, I have to applaud...

A superb B and B .Clients should know that the lounge for guests is on the ground floor of a self contained section of the main house and bedroom (double ) is on 1st floor and bedroom (twin) is on 2nd floor with a narrow wooden staircase.
