The Hotel Sainte Croix in Bayeux France is a wonderful gem. Four of us stayed there for 6 days while touring lower Normandy. Florence our wonderful hostess made our stay perfect. She is a wonderful baker and her pastries we had for breakfast were Devine. Our rooms were tasteful, quiet and very comfortable. Be advised that the hotel doesn't take... More

We stumbled on this place on Tripadvisor. We were happy we did! The B&B is everything you could want for a homebase in Normandy. The proprietor was very friendly and prepared AMAZING homemade breakfasts. The room was quite large, and had a private terrace with a nice view of the garden. Location is very good, close to many options for... More

beautiful traditional small hotel in the centre of Bayeux. We had a large room with view to the market place - great breakfasts and friendly host. HIghly recommended if you like to feel that you are in France and wish to soak up the atmosphere.

The Hotel de Sainte Croix is just what we expected: A charming, well located B&B in Bayeux, a wonderful small city in the heart of Normandy. Although the hotel is an older structure, it is lovingly maintained by Florence, your host and innkeeper. Rooms are large and eclectically decorated with comfortable beds and have large, modern bathrooms. The inn is... More

We were two couples traveling together, and booked 2 rooms for 3 nights at this charming hotel. The location is wonderful - just across from the market square. Florence was warm and welcoming, even though we arrived early. Our rooms were huge, with large bathrooms, and nicely appointed, comfortable and immaculately clean. Breakfast was served in the beautiful dining room,... More

Go hungry! Florence bakes the most fabulous delights, and your breakfast will leave you full all day. The rooms are large and clean and comfortable. The stairs may daunt some, but for us, it was a way to work off the charming Florence's magnificent breakfasts. Bayeux is the perfect location from which to tour the Normandy beaches, to see Mont... We were very surprised at the huge size of the bedroom and bath and luxurious linens and china at breakfast. Florence was a lovely host who telephoned our guide to confirm he would pick us up at her hotel for our trip to the Normandy Beaches and also emailed out next location to let them know we would be late... Based on TripAdvisor reviews, my husband and I booked four nights at the Hotel de Sainte Croix in September. When researching, we focus on comments about the host/hostess, the size of the rooms, and location (as we travel by public transportation). On all counts, this B&B lived up to its reputation. Florence agreed to our arriving early in the afternoon... More

My husband, adult son, and I stayed at the Hotel De Sainte Croix on October 1-2, 2012. We had a lovely room with a big bed and a smaller bed in the same room, as well as a huge bathroom with shower/tub, and two sinks. The hotel was very well kept, spotlessly clean, and the beds and linens were very... More

We stayed at Florence's B&B for 6 days from September 28 to October 4 and loved it. The reservation was easily done with E-mails without any of the cancellation warnings that many B&B's use. The parking in the area is not hard at all, the price is more than a bargain at 89 euro for 2 people with a terrific... More
