The "hotel" needs to modernise. It is in the centre but that is the only positive aspect. The gentleman in the "reception" was nice but everything else was very disappointing. The little piece of paper with the entrance code, the individual password for each device you may want to connect to the internet, the absence of a lift, the size...

This was a clean and well maintained hotel. It was centrally located, very convenient for the conference centre and other local amenities. The hotel staff were very wecolming and most helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.

The manager was welcoming even though we arrived late - we had called ahead to warn him. The hotel is clean and was an ideal place to stay before we headed south. The main draw back is the breakfast room is tiny so we were very squashed. Parking is in a public car park around the corner which is free...

We stayed here one night while visiting the Juno beach centre. We found the hotel to be clean and comfortable. The hotel was close to a pay parking lot which was fantastic since we had rented a car for the day. We checked in late and were politely accommodated. The hotel is close to many cafes and restaurants.

Very basic and clean hotel, if I had been booking this trip I would not booked this hotel, the rooms where of a good size but the bath rooms where very small, the breakfast was also very disappointing. Having to move rooms half way though are stay was also very inconvenient.

This was an overnight stop for my wife and I, on our tour of the Normandy coast. Although it is a budget hotel it has all you need after a day on the road, a comfortable bed, a clean shower. although our room faced on to the road , there was very little outside noise. There is on street parking...

The location is great. Right in the centre of Caen. But A very basic hotel, clean. Recently decorated place. Beds very small and low and the pillow really could do with upgrading, the bathroom anyone larger than a size 14 would struggle to use the toilet. Not participated in the breakfast. Very warm room cannot have window open due to the...

Reading some of the other reviews on here I would say they are very misleading. It didn't look to me as though it had been recently refurbished and it wasn't all that clean either. The room was small, the bathroom very small with a tiny shower barely big enough to turn around in. No check-in procedure either and it appeared...

A really clean and superb value for money hotel. recently refurbished and far better than the average dated and dirty cheap hotels you often find in France at the budget end of the market. Very polite staff.

Really had a great stay at this hotel. My impression was that it was recently renovated - new carpet, fresh paint, new beds, etc. It was very simple, no frills, but very clean as well. The staff was terrific too. I accidentally booked the room for the wrong night but when I showed up they gave me an open room...

“We were in room 3, flashing Hotel Sign out side of our window buzzers all night. We should have closed the window and curtains, but it was very warm in this room.( No Air-Con).”
