Wonderful relaxing stay with our two daughters (18 month and 3 years) in the self contained cottage in the grounds of La Reserve. We had a week to explore Monet's Gardens (spring bulbs were breathtaking), Rouen, Domaine du Villarceaux, and popped to Paris for a day on the train from Vernon. The cottage has everything you need, gorgeous big dining...

I searched for many months, pouring over hundreds of chateaus, castles, boutique hotels online (and a couple even in person) to find the right place to host a women's retreat in France. My business requires yhat I find the best accommodations all around the world for the women I serve. Once I found La Reserve and communicated with Valerie, I...

Spent 2 nights here before our return home and what a way to cap off our trip! This fabulous B&B is really a wonderful Chateau - modern in plumbing and electrics - but constructed with doors and windows from architectural salvage it gives the feeling that it has been here 200 years. Our hosts, Francois & Valerie had wonderful breakfasts...

We stayed at this B&B overnight on the way back to Calais. We found it easily from the map on the website. It was located very well for easy access to the Monet gardens and museum and Valerie was really helpful in advising the best way to see these. We were the only couple staying and were completely spoilt by...

We stayed here for a few nights while driving towards the coast from the airport. We wanted to visit Giverny, Monet's house and a few historic sites in the area. Valerie and the family are wonderful, friendly hosts. Information about the area and directions dispensed with pleasure. The breakfast is more than enough to satisfy. Among other things it consists...

This wonderful B&B is off the beaten track. We wondered if we were lost but after winding through fields and woods we arrived in this gracious oasis. Apparently the building is relatively new but constructed from old materials. So it has character and ambience and good design AND the beds are comfy and the plumbing works well. Hosts were delightful....

Along with another couple, we stayed at La Reserve on the first day of our visit in Normandy. We stayed at La Reseve because we were visiting Monet's House and Gardens. We arrived late morning after overnight flight. Valerie was waiting to welcome us and still had breakfast waiting. Wonderful croissants and coffee. We fell in love with her place...

Away from the tourist honeypot of Giverny yet close enough to go to Monet's Gardens towards the end of the day and to go back again to the village for dinner, La Reserve is a stunning b&b. Valerie is a wonderful host, with incredible attention to detail - from the welcoming cider al fresco to the perfect fruit kebab resting...

A charming and impressive place. When we arrived at La Reserve we were tired for driving and Valerie and François were waiting for us with a homemade cider and some croissants in the garden at the sunset (amazing!!). Flaubert the big dog was presented for us. It is a really kindly and friendly dog, my little daughter (2 years) have...
