My husband and I spent 2 nights and hosts Philippe and Elisabeth were absolutely charming and we were welcomed like family. Beautiful large clean rooms and plenty of space in their delightful gardens. Parking on site. Breakfast delicious and plentiful. Short walk to the village of Giverny and Monet's Garden and House which our hosts happily pre-arranged our entry tickets....

During a recent 3 week trip to France, we stayed primarily at B&Bs. Although all were great, this was by far the best. The B&B is in a beautiful park setting filled with gorgeous rose bushes. The room we stayed in was a huge suite with both a large bedroom and a large bath. The room was decorated in a...

Astus and Henry two Cavalier King Charles residents greeted us on our arrival before Philippe the owner appeared to help us with parking and showing us to our pleasant apartment. On our last day in France, we decided to make an overnight detour to Giverny before heading home. The apartment accommodates 4 people. It was the only one available for...

Elisabeth et Philippe, in their home and accommodation, truly labour with Love. From their warm welcome to our fond "Good-bye!"s (which I hope is only "Au revoir!"), they seamlessly did absolutely everything to make us feel perfectly welcomed, comfortably and luxuriously at home, sumptuously nourished, and safely ensconced in their home, gardens, and, indeed, all of Giverny. I look forward...

Quiet charming spacious Band B. We had an apartment style room on ground floor with terrace. Country French decoration made it very pretty. Bed large and very comfy. Friendly proprieters with English spoken. Only disadvantage was the lack of door on the bathroom. Breakfast was exceptional (no hot food ) set in the gorgeous conservatory. A reasonable walk to Monet's...

Like so many other reviews, we absolutely agree that the hosts Phillipe and Elizabeth have created a unique and delightful place to stay. Although the address is Claude Monet Rue, if you are driving you will be directed to the other side of the house and garden which provides a perfect vista of the breakfast room and front of the...

We stayed at La Pluie de Roses last September and it was just perfect. We had wanted to stay in Giverny for a couple of nights whilst we visited the Monet Gardens and we were sold on La Pluie de Roses by the photos of the accomodation and the lovely reviews. It definitely exceeded the reviews and the photos -...

We stayed with Phillipe and Elisabeth recently while on a trip to Monet's Garden, and if you're thinking of staying in Giverny soon then you really should try to stay here - they are lovely people and really go out of their way to make sure you are well looked after!. La Pluie is an old house (about 100 years...

Within walking distance of the gardens this is a charming spot. The home sits in an extensive garden of its own and is absolutely full of French nick nacks. The woman is a semi retired opera singer and the place reflects her love of music. Breakfast was special. The two guest rooms are downstairs and at least with ours, lacked...

We stayed at La Pluie des Roses yesterday as our second stop on the way back from Spain. Giverny is a really pretty place and of course famous for its Monet connections and, especially, the famous gardens. The visit is made complete by staying with the Chavreau's at La Pluie des Roses. We have stayed at quite a few chambres...
