Stayed in one of the round rooms which was very comfortable and well maintained. Can confirm that the food is very good and the restaurant area is nice and cosy.Would recommend to friends and family with confidence...

The Playden Oasts is just a wonderfully relaxing, welcoming inn.If you are looking for the bland big chain inns this is not for you. The decor is entirely fitting with the character of the place, it is warm and cosy. You get a lovely friendly welcome and nothing is too much. The bar and restaurant is comfy and is used...

What a lovely place this is, the welcome is just so warm and nothing is to much trouble. We had 1 of the 'round rooms' complete with a round bed and a Juliette balcony, the room was very warm with plenty of space a good shower room. Having read other reviews we decided to eat in and were not disappointed....

This was the third time I've stayed, a really nice place with friendly staff. The food was great, the beer excellent and a warm genuine welcome from the staff and locals who went out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Warm and cozy, looking forward to next visit.

The Playden Oast Hotel, was wonderful. We went for a 3 night break just to chill out before the winter sets in. The Hotel is set off the Road. Pretty Gardens souround the Quirky Oast house. Our room was not in the main roundel building but to an extension at the side. We were in a very quiet area. The...

Arrived after a stressful journey to be greeted by wonderful hospitality, immediately shown to my cosy room and within minutes sandwiches and a large glass of wine! Bed was very clean and comfortable but sadly the room wasn't terribly clean with cobwebs on walls and in shower, bits on the carpet and bedside lamps needed a dust down. Having said...

We have stayed here twice before and will be going again next year. We find the staff very helpful and the accommodation lovely. We make it a family affair and take our dogs with us. We find everyone so kind and cannot do enough to please. The food is lovely and are looking forward to it next year (breakfast has...

A lovely location including an attractive garden with many trees and, from our room, a fine view. The delightful landlady and all her staff could not have been more welcoming, friendly and attentive. Our room, although not large, was well appointed and, as with all other parts of the Inn, the housekeeping was of a high standard. The bed was...

We had eaten well here a few years ago and had promised ourselves a night in the round room. There was a rounded bed and a bath(!) in the bedroom, with a separate loo and the bed was really comfortable. Noise came from the restaurant below but stopped quite early so it wasn't a problem. We had dinner which was...

Hotel: It is a lovely quirky hotel but looks like it last had any money spent on it in the 1970's. It is quite old fashioned, swirly carpets and dated decor. Could be really lovely with a bit of cash and thought - needs an Alex Polizzi make over. Also needs a good clean, dusty chairs and woodwork. The evening...
