We stayed two nights here in a large room with good size bathroom with shower and tub and minibar in a separate building from main. We could open windows for good ventilation. The hotel looks like a historic building with incredible old furnishings and paintings. There is a separate billiards room as well as pool and spa which we did...

Wow, to walk into L'Ecrin is like walking into the 17th century as gentry may have done way back then. It is a fabulous hotel in a centuries-old building with art treasures and very beautiful antique furnishings. Our room on level 2 was exquisite. We loved it. A great view from a window too. We felt like nobility. It is...

We had two nights here in this unique establishment. A bit like staying in a National Trust stately home. Packed full of antique bits and pieces in the public rooms. Situated conveniently within ten minutes walk of the centre of Honfleur and has a good car park. However, the room was a bit basic, bed comfortable and the bathroom of...

My husband and I recently stayed in this hotel and were VERY DISAPPOINTED in the quality and position of our Superior Room. It was very small and led straight on to the car park. There were no drawers or shelves for unpacking our clothing, only a large and empty hanging wardrobe. For 3 days we lived out of our suitcases....

Interesting old house in a quiet part of town slightly away from the harbour and town centre but still easily walkable. Our room was in a separate building next to the swimming pool (too cold to swim when we were there, but looks nice!) Friendly helpful reception. Our only complaint was that we really think 15 euros for breakfast is...

This is an old, elegant chateau with beautiful grounds and a lot of charm. It is a peaceful, beautiful setting but a short walk to the tourist area. The staff was very warm and friendly. Our room on the top floor was a hike up but the room was comfortable. There's a small refrigerator in the room. Parking is free...

It wouldn't take much for this to be a top notch hotel. It is an old mansion set on an oasis of lovely grounds. It is far enough from the town center to avoid the noise and crowds but a very short walk - about 10 minutes. This is one of the few hotels in Honfleur that has air conditioning....

Lovely hotel - definitely for fun rather than business. Interestingly laid out over several different buildings `and areas. Pretty even in the pouring rain of the August Bank Holiday Monday. Very friendly staff staff who let my practise my French and didn't insist on speaking English. We got there late on Sunday and got probably the worst rooms because of...

Short walk to centre of Honfleur where all the restaurants are situated. Car parking available within the hotel premises which is a rare offering from hotels situated so close to the centre of town. Our room was upstairs- no lifts and so suitcases have to be carried up. Cute room with nice ensuite bathroom containing shower and separate bath. Our...

Despite a fantastic warm welcome by the hotel manager, our stay didn't get off to such a good start. It turned out that our room (18, not located in the main property but in the outbuildings) had an adjoining wall with the public apartments next door. We returned from our first night out in Honfleur to be met with exceptionally...
