The hotel is modern and clean and the family suite represents great value. The photos make it look as if it faces into something worth seeing from the balconies - alas it’s quite out if the way in an industrial estate and construction of another wing is underway. It’s only 7 minutes drive from the main promenade but you definitely need a car to stay here. Nevertheless it’s a good base for exploring the area.
This is supposed to be a 4 star hotel. It's in the middle of a grotty industrial estate. Our balcony with table and chairs overlooked a huge lock up warehouse and weeds. It's a hideous area. It's only a 3star hotel for overnight business stays NOT a holiday hotel. The pool and hot tub were a joke.its a 12 x 3 feet tank. More than 4 people in the pool and there's that uncomfortable feeling of personal space being encroached upon. The hot tub was cool and 75% of the water jets didn't work. Breakfast was ok. Nowhere for families to play. Very unpleasant area to stay. What possessed them to build a hotel there???
If this hotel overlooked the sea it would be getting endless five-star reviews. So, getting the downside out of the way first, it's located in an industrial zone a few minutes drive from the beachfront of La Baule. The sun-facing balconies are generously sized and a lovely place to be, but the vista is a little sad. Now for the rest. The staff are without exception brilliant. The rooms are huge and well equipped and put any similar-priced IBIS to shame. Fabulous walk-in shower, everything you could possibly want. We didn't avail ourselves of the spa areas, I understand they are a bit compact. Breakfast plentiful (if you don't leave it too late), and delicious too. The acid test is would we stay here again, and the answer is a definite "Yes"
This was a last minute booking as we unexpectedly needed a hotel due to changes in our travel. On arriving we was dealt with extremely efficiently with English speaking staff. The hotel was beautifully clean and the family room was perfectly laid out. Great comfy bed and pillows too. The location is a bit bizarre on a industrial estate but it takes a 5 min drive to the seafront. Definitely worth the money
Stayed for three nights, lovely clean room. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Short drive from beach, good location for exploring area. Breakfast ok could be better but overall a really ice place to stay.
