This is a hidden gem in the Loire Valley. The grounds are large and mostly untouched. There is a nice patio in the back with a view of horses,. Look for the chateau's hog and cats-- very funny. The rooms are well kept and quiet. I had my best night's sleep there in years.

The Château de Razay is on the southern bank of the Loire , not to far from Tours and ideally located to visit the châteaux on the East side of Tours (Chenonceau , Amboise , Chaumont , Blois and Chambord ) and the major ones on the west side ( Villandry,Langeais , Rigny Ussé, Chignon and Azay-Le-Rideau) . We stopped here on our way through France and found it delightful. The whole place was full of character. We loved all the animals and wished we had had more time to use the pool and relax more. The breakfast was lovely.

This was one of our favorite places we stayed during our trip to France. Our daughter loved the animals. The owners were very nice and called the local restaurant to arrange reservations for us. All in all a unique experience.

we have stayed there for two nights only... and I want to return for a longer stay. This beautiful hotel in Céré-la-Ronde is so quiet that this is the perfect place to relax and take care of you. Located in township, this hotel is a familial property very well managed by Michelle the owner. Of course you need a car... More

We stayed here overnight en route to the Dordogne. It's true there is no kettle in the rooms and no restaurant, but if you are prepared for that then everything else makes up for it. There is a good restaurant nearby at Montpoupon, which is a very short drive away and the chance to admire another beautiful chateau on the... More

The Drive up to the Chateau du Razay was very relaxing, very scenic and the grounds gave hope of things to come!!! On entering the Hotel, an aweful, very strong smell of bleach pervaded the whole place. It was clear from the outset that the whole interior of the building had been very cheaply and minimally furnished " it is... More

This is a must if touring the Loire Valley - after visiting some grande chateaux you'll feel right at home here in well restored and relaxing surroundings All part of a small chateaux estate, de Razay has spacious up to date en suite rooms and with no restaurant must be one of the most elegant b&b's in France. The main... More

Have just returned from a trip to France and a 2 night stay at this lovely Chateau. Pictures don't quite do it justice! As we drove up the long driveway and saw the chateau and gorgeous grounds, we couldn't believe we were lucky enough to get to stay at such a place. My daughter was delighted when she spotted Rudy, the... This beautiful property on the outskirts of Cere le Ronde is a chance to experience life in a well renovated chateau with animals roaming the grounds and even the choice of treehouses for the more adventurous. A huge living room in which guests can relax and a big breakfast are all part of the service.
