I booked a Superior Double Room for 2 nights over the Internet. From the train station its about a 15 minutes flat walk. Out of the main entrance of the Gare, turn right on Rue Denis Papin, then vere left, and walk straight along Marchall Foch up towards Hotel de Ville. We were well greeted with all info required, incl...

Great central hotel. Despite this it is in a very quiet location. Good spacious comfortable rooms. No restaurant on site, But why would you need one, when the staff can recommend great eating places across the city.

Returning to UK with a fully loaded car we broke our journey in Angers and chose this hotel as it is very central and has secure parking. The courtyard is charming and the hotel building itself is very attractive - classically French with well-proportioned rooms. The welcome - in French and English - was warm and relaxed. The hotel appears...

Lovely, characterful building, in a quiet position, but right in the centre of town. Our room was fine for a couple of days stay, although the bathroom fittings needed an update. (The owners told us they are in the middle of refurbishing all the rooms, so perhaps ours was on the list). Parking in the pretty courtyard was a squeeze,...

I have stayed here many times. You can not beat this location, right in the middle of Angers, yet on a quiet street and not in a chain hotel. The staff is friendly enough. Breakfast is very good but not excellent. Rooms are clean. Beds are acceptable. Internet is spotty. Parking is creative but handy with a bit of planning....

Nice old building in a quiet street, off a quiet street within walking distance of the sights. Rather over efficient welcome - a long list of instructions. Charming building was let down by shabby interior. The room was 'Superior' but tiny and very worn: old furniture, terrible bed, not proper pillows, 3/4 bath with shower -head. Very nice large windows...

The overall experience was very nice. The hotel is full of charm and just a few meters from the action, yet very quiet. The hotel has a private parking which is very attractive in the area. The room was very good - although a bit old fashioned - but price reflects that.

We came back to Angers on our honeymoon after meeting as exchange students there in 2009. This hotel is just in the right place to help us remember all the times we spent there before. Our room (No8) was very small, but we hadn´t really planned to spend much time there really. It was clean and the bed was made...

Run by a very friendly, helpful family the hotel is just a 2 minute walk to central square, shopping, restaurants. Parking is secure and really useful. Breakfast is plentiful, our room was comfortable and quiet overlooking the courtyard, a very relaxed atmosphere. Good wifi connection. The centre of town has the beautiful Chateau, Cathedral, Musee Davide d'Angers. About one hour's...

My husband and two teenage daughters stayed here just 1 night, but it was such a lovely visit! The owners of the hotel were so hospitable, welcoming and friendly. Comfortable bedrooms that are nicely decorated and within easy walking distance of all places of interest. I would happily stay here again and would recommend it to anyone who wants local...
