Mangement is rather unfriendly, room ok, but the noise of nightlife was very loud, no airconditioning, so sleeping with closed windows was unbearble hot in July. The hotel is 69 euro's for a room on booking.com, but the prices in the hotel are lower. I don't recomend this place.

Of course central and well renovated. Bathroom was lacking small things like toiletries and a towel rack but it was big. Bedroom was very comfortable. Would have like breakfast in the hotel but they only have service in the room.

We returned from dinner to find the owner in one of our 2 rooms, in the process moving us from our - small but comfortable - rooms to new rooms. A "mistake" had been made and the rooms should have been given to their "rightful" bookers, French of course. Desolee, monsieur. We were then moved to two rooms that were... More

If you are in Poitiers, , this is a fine hotel for a day or two. On the first floor, the rooms are tiny, although other reviews indicate that third floor rooms (they cost more)- have balconies overlooking the main square. We found the hotel easy to deal with via the internet. We would suggest not taking their breakfast package,... More

Located in Place du Marechal Leclerc, adjacent to the Hotel de Ville, with the attractions of the old town close by, this is a great place to be. You might expect a rather grander establishment, but most of the ground and first floors are now a burger restaurant, so the entry is just a desk and the tiny lift to... More

I stayed for 3 nights in a Premium Double Room, which was one of the rooms on the top floor with a balcony. Thanks to previous reviews I was aware the hotel is not manned during parts of the day and I telephoned to warn them I would be arriving while the hotel would be locked. They provided me with... The hotel itself is located in a beautiful square and we were lucky to have a prime view of the town hall and square through our lovely large window. However, due to travelling with a female friend and sharing a bed we felt as though we were constantly being judged and made us feel slightly uncomfortable. The rooms were nice,... More

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and overall thought it was great. It's in a fantastic location, and great value for money! We booked a comfort room through booking.com, which is described as "spacious, with a large bed", and having read the other reviews, we requested a balcony room overlooking the square. However, it turns out that there are... More

As always I use hipmunk.com for its extreme ease in booking flights and hotels (my best advice to fellow travelers!). Hotel Central is comfortable and worth it to stay overlooking the town square. Wife and I stayed 5 nights on the top floor with a balcony and an amazing view. Be sure to ask for a view – do not... More

A very small, very clean anonymous hotel. Perfect central location ,great view and secure parking at E5.40 for 24 hours. It is however so unremarkable that I had to invent this sentence to reach the 200 character minimum limit for a review.
