Following a long day's drive we arrived at this hotel without a reservation. We were made very welcome by the reception staff and allocated a very reasonably priced room for a hotel right in the centre of Poitiers which is a charming place. We made ourselves comfortable in the bar area and enjoyed a very good bottle of red wine...

To find a good dog friendly hotel in a nice part of France!we set of from javea in spain to return to lincoln in england, it is a 25 hour drive and the weather was wet , our intention was to find a typically french hotel in a typically french town, with great French hospitality, and we succeeded!

An excellent hotel situated close to the centre of Poitiers. Lots of interesting sights and good restaurants nearby. The bedroom was spacious and clean. The breakfast was very good and worth the extra charge. Additionally, the on site secure covered parking is welcome.

Stayed for only two nights. The room was clean well appointed and comfortable. As the hotel surrounds its own central courtyard, we were not troubled by street noise, despite being in the centre of the city, perhaps 100 meters from the Hotel de Ville. There was also a nearby launderette (turn left out the front of the hotel and it...

I would like to recommend Hotel de l'Europe, where I stayed early this month. I have to say that it really surprised me, I was not expecting such a nice hotel. The building itself is very nice and the rooms are comfortable. I has a beautiful garden behind the building, and the restaurant has a nice view over it. If...

The hotel is located almost at the start of the centre of the city, a fifty metre walk to restaurants and bars. Driving to the hotel was easy in a one way street and leaving even better as there were no traffic problems. Parking was a breeze with parking within the hotel grounds, also undercover parking. Our room was large...

Good welcome, with secure parking right in the middle of Poitiers. Our room in the old part of the hotel was quiet, as requested, but shabby and in need of a spring clean and update. The poor room was compensated by good service and location.

On average we're pleased and happy with the hotel and our stay. I) Strong points: -In the first place, the hotel is really calm and ideal for sleeping and resting well, as there is no noise that could disturb you, due to the fact that the rooms overlook all to an interior court and not to the principal street. -The...

This hotel has a large sign saying it's very calm. This is true. But that's about the only thing that has going for it. The room I had was incredibly small. Even the chair it was impossible to move it or really sit down comfortably. It wasn't their fault but we had an exceptionally cold month of June and I...
