Since we last stayed at this hotel it has been bought by restaurateur Pierre Reboul. After an initial, very impressive, focus on the restaurant and kitchen they are, I understand, upgrading the rooms etc of this charming hotel. Whilst the location is slightly anachronistic it is very convenient for exploring the area so don't let this put you off. It...

Stayed one night in the hotel and whished it would have been more. I very much like those historical hotels. Fantastic setvice and really good food. My room had a nice view over the garden. The hotel has a large areal it feels like being in a country side. Its a very romantic Chateau hotel.

Is some way from centre of Aix so taxi or own car needed. Just avoid 14July as transport is mad. Has a swimming pool though they don't like serving drinks by it unless in plastic - was told there had been 'un accident' Otherwise lovely location and very rural. If going for opera festival it's ideal

From the nearby street, you would never know that this place exists because the street is lined with big box discount retailers (including Carrefour and Decathlon) and the entrance is easy to miss. Once entering the property, however, it opens up to nice gardens and the chateau itself. If you want a room with every possible modern convenience then this...

This is a beautiful property nestled in amongst a bustling commercial area, a pleasant surprise as you turn off the busy street into a park oasis with the circular drive welcoming you into your chateau for the evening. The welcoming manager was amazing, so helpful and very conversational. Our room was perfect with all the little touches and a deep...

Beautiful hotel, surrounded by a big garden and an industrial park. Once trough the gate you are in a different world. Spacious rooms with wifi and bathrobes, nespresso machine and slippers. Pool towels for free. Pool area needs a bit of refurbishment. Every day the reception offers a drink to the guests, which is very nice. The restaurant is very...

This is a great hotel. The setting us beautiful , the staff is very nice and hospitable and the food is exceptional. We really enjoyed staying here and it is a good base from which to explore Provence. There are a lot of very nice excursions to do during the day and then you can hang out by the pool....

Inventive menu as one expects for a Michelin star chef, but the acid and sweet coating on the fois gras paired with far too strong cress puree totally overwhelmed the dish causing many to just eat the fois gras. The main course of fish with bouillabaisse was good but minuscule with some plates barely having enough for one good mouthful....

We thought we had got to the wrong area as this supposed 'chateau' was in an a full blown industrial estate, horrible area off the motorway - a gate hidden amongst the industrial units. A horrible basic room, dirty pool and chairs, run down gardens, even pots on terrace where clients had very very expensive dinner had dead plants in...

A blunder to begin with caused by the booking website Agoda. I booked for 3 adults however the hotel had been unable to contact me given Agoda had not provided any contact details. Contacting Agoda was hopeless with their customer service - so we were stuck, with paid hotel room and could not get a refund nor could contact Agoda....
