We have recently returned from a wonderful visit , and we can only re-iterate what previous guests have commented about , the warmth & hospitality of Marie & Francoise. We were very impressed by the overwhelming efforts to meet all their guest's needs with routes, restaurants, predicted weather forecasts etc. And we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and hope to...

Marie and Francoise, your hospitality and kindness's topped off our trip to France. Pavillon de la Torse exceeded all our expectations from the succulent breakfasts to the intimate "happy hour for guests" in the evening. You should be awarded a 'sixth' star. Readers of the review who book at Pavillon de la Torse will not be disappointed. It is hard...

It is located on a busy road, but as soon as you step through the gate, you feel like all the hustle and bustle has suddenly disappeared! The grounds of the place is beautiful. I wish we stayed longer just to enjoy the facilities there. The hosts were also another reason to stay there. Francis and Marie were so helpful...

We did lots of research before settling on this location in Aix as a base from which to explore Provence (we stayed here for 6 nights). The location, facility and hosts met and exceeded every expectation - and then some. We travelled with our two children (10 and 6) and could not have been taken care of in a better...

Everything has already been said in this site about how exceptional this B&B is, especially in terms of the professionalism by which it is run and how almost by instinct, Francoise and Marie understand the needs and expectations of their guests. I use the word guest deliberately due to the very genuine welcome and outstanding hospitality. My husband and I...

If you need to be right in the centre of Aix this is not for you. BUT if a 20min walk or 3 min drive is OK then this is sensational. A wonderful restoration of an historic house. Very very charming hosts. Beautiful setting and gardens. Of special mention there is a room for guests with a quick PC, broadband...

We had a wonderful stay with Marie & Francois, starting from the moment we arrived, to be ushered in straight away to the daily Happy Hour - a great opportunity to meet fellow guests, exchange stories of the day, and get suggestions for the next day's plans. Francois was very helpful, providing highlighted maps and driving instructions, and his suggestions...

Like all the other reviewers, we too found Pavillon de la Torse to be truly excellent in all ways: great room, large and comfortable bed, fine breakfast and afternoon apertifs, plus the congenial and helpful hosts, Marie and Francois, who answered email queries about other destinations even before we got there, and worked over maps with us while we were...

We spent three memorable days and nights with Marie and Francois and enjoyed every moment there. The house and grounds are excellent, surpassed only by the incomparable hospitality shown by our hosts. We regretted our stay was so brief - and intend to have a longer stay next time. Each day we looked forward to the lively conversation over the...

My wife and I found de la Torse through TripAdvisor while looking for a B&B in Provence that would be central to many of the areas we wanted to see. Our record with TripAdvisor is still 100%. This B&B is incredible. Period. Look no further. We arrived on a Saturday night after a long day of driving. We were buzzed...
