First of all I would like to say I had a cozy and wonderful stay at Le Clos des Freres Gris, on October 2016. The localization is outstanding and very near , about 5 n=minutes, from downtown AIX EN PROVENCE. To be true it exceeded in a positive way all my expectations. Besides the charming and beautiful property, that itself... More

Such an enjoyable & relaxing stay with Caroline at Le Clos Des Freres Gris. We stayed in the lovely Lavender Room (upgraded because it was available) & had some delicious meals at restaurants she had recommended/booked. Breakfast was beautifully prepared & presented in such charming surroundings, it almost seemed a shame to leave the table & get on with the... More

This was the second time we have stayed at Le Clos de Freres Gris. It is just the most wonderful B & B with the most amazing welcome from Caroline and we were so thrilled to see that it was just as beautiful as ever, just the colour of the shutters had changed to a proper Provencal burgundy. We stayed... More

We were here for our honeymoon. I'll start with the pros: the place is beautiful, the bathroom was perfect (seriously, could not have been more pampering), we had the room with the A/C, which worked very well, the room was spacious, the breakfast was delicious and considerate towards special requests and it was easy to book direct via e-mail (Caroline,... My family and I stayed 3 nights at this phenomenal B&B. We spent a few weeks touring France and stayed at many places this was, by far the best. The house is beautiful and maintained to the highest standard. Our room had ample space for myself, my husband and my two (lively!) young children. The swimming pool is spotlessly clean... More

We stayed here for 3 nights and the owners Caroline and her husband felt us be at home. The rooms are all spacious and furnished to the detail with Provençal taste. Every afternoon after our trips we could find ice cold roseé whine and mint flavored water waiting for us in the porch. There's a quiet and large swimming pool.

Quintessential Aix en Provence B&B. We rested here 2 days. A perfect spot for discovering Aix and it's environs. Caroline is the perfect Host, always available and helpful, never intrusive. A beautiful old restored monastery (I think!), simple rooms well equipped and quiet. Large grounds and a great swimming pool. Breakfast on the terrace feeds one's love of Provence as... More

Le Clos Des Freres Gris is hands down the most wonderful bnb I have ever been to. With the perfect combination of peaceful, relaxing, and very well-run, staying here was one of the highlights of our trip to Provence. The rooms are beautiful and the bathrooms are clean, cozy and filled with L’Occitane products, which are made in the area.... More

My wife and I stayed here for 6 days. Hubert and Caroline's place is perfect in so many ways. The perfect combination of location to everything we wanted to do and a quiet place to relax. The location is a very short drive into Aix-en-Provence, less than 30 minutes from the Marseille Airport, and near highways for trips to the... More
