Not suitable for people who want a good standard Hotel. The rooms are old fashion, no vent in the Toilet. Smell from the toillets in the room. Very nice place in the old city. Difficult to arrive with a big Car. No parking. Need to park 10 minutes walk away. Breakfast ok.

Met my daughter here for the Rencontres d'Arles photo exhibitions. Think we got the last twin room in town. What a wonderful find! Gorgeous old building with everything in town within a short walk. helpful staff directed us to the best restaurants...NOT on the main square. What more can i say? Breakfast in the lovely courtyard a joy. Coffee especially...

We arrived on Sunday morning when the streets were closed to traffic for a carnival. All the surrounding car parks were full so my husband rang the proprietor at the hotel who subsequently told an official (in no uncertain terms) to move the barrier and allow us through! The hotel garage was full so we drove to a public car...

The courtyard is amazing. Breakfast time was so enjoyable with the plants around the courtyard and the nice smell of fresh bakery. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The location is great. Our room is on the basic side. The air conditioner was very helpful during hot nights.

Whoever pens out has inherited the hotel du musee had got it made. It has the feel of staying in a medieval chateaux/castle/mansion. Tall ceilings, big rooms and a terrific location just by the Rhone in the beautiful ancient city of Arles. The great thing is that rather than relying on the location and inbuilt character, the owners have worked...

This is a beautiful old hotel. We loved the courtyard area, and all the other places to sit and relax in the hotel. Our room was quite spacious with a very nice bathroom. No shower, but a shower head and deep bathtub, which I've seen before in Europe. No problem. There are stairs; again, typical of hotels like this. The...

After walking around in Arles on vacation, we thought, it would be nice to come back, as it was a very interesting city with interesting peoples. After we left to go back to our vacation base, we booked a night in this hotel. One has to go through barriers, to access the street (narrow and one way). Best park on...

The hotel is located in an old Arles street which gave it a real sense of history. Having read previous reviews about stairs, we had written to request a room with fewer steps. We had a wonderful room just off the courtyard, spacious with modern bathroom. The courtyard was lovely to have a "refresher" after the days' activities. Breakfast was...

We loved that this was once a mansion, now converted for guests. We had the opportunity to stay in two different rooms and they were both great, with windows opening onto the courtyard below. Good breakfast each morning, but would have liked to take our own wine down to the courtyard in the evening. No caveats here except to be...

Great location near the river in the old town and an easy walk from the train station. It's pretty much easy to walk to all the historical sites and restaurants in Arles from here. We had a car rental and there were plenty of public parking nearby. You can also reserve a space from the hotel for a small fee....
