My mother and I were travelling orund Provene and started and ended our trip in Avignon. La Ferme de Gigognan was fabulous. The proprietor gave us suggestions for places to eat and visit. The house is beautiful and the breakfasts each morning were delicious and relaxed. This B&B is well worth it.

Caroline is a very elegant host, very friendly and helpful! She borrowed us her map and book on Provence and showed us where we should go to see the lavender and other attractions. Our main purpose was to see the lavender fields in the area and on the day that we left, she gave us both a bouquet of lavender...

Accomodations in Avignon tend to be quite expensive. La Ferme de Gigognan is a wonderful B&B just minutes from the gates of the Papal Palace. The spacious rooms are beautifully appointed with Provencal furnishings. The linens on the beds are pressed, and the bathrooms are large, with double vanities in some.
