I have dreamed of a holiday in Provence for 20 years, ever since I read "A Year in Provence," by Peter Mayle, and when I arrived at this property it was absolutely perfect. A private home with 4 rooms available to guests and inside (but just inside) the walls of the old city, this property ticks all the boxes and... More

Le Limas is located in a 19Century building but the interior is modern and stylish with every comfort for guests. Marion is very welcoming and helpful and provides an excellent full buffet breakfast. This is served on the terrace which gives a view of the Palais des Papes, which is amazing to see either at breakfast or at the end... More

If you go to Avignon, this is the place to stay. Marion was a great host and extremely friendly and helpful. She also speaks French, English and German so no language issues. Rooms are lovely and clean and her breakfasts are magnificent. Her B and B is very well situated right near the Palais des Papes and within the walled... More

Located only one hundred yards from the Place de Palais this crisply modern B&B is a spotless choice in old Avignon. Our room Le Palais on the third floor faces a quiet leafy pocket park with a view of the Palais towers. Marion was a wonderful host. To aid us in getting our car to the nearest garage she got... After searching through the hotel options in Avignon I turned to B&Bs. I'm so glad I chose 'Le Limas'. The hostess (Marion) is delightful, always cheery and ready to make a reservation or suggest must-see points of interest. Her breakfasts are delicious and filling. Our room (Le Palais) was large and bright. Marion is an artist, so her modern aesthetic... More

Marion, who owns the place is a wonderful, extremely helpful and welcoming person. She recommends, places to go, where to park, everything. We loved her hotel and will most definitely stay with her next time we are in Avignon. It was spotlessly clean and the breakfast lovely.

The room has everything you need. It is close to the Palace du Pape nice quiet street and lots of nice restaurants near by. Your hostess Marion serves up the best ever breakfasts and is a mine of local information. Nothing is too much trouble. Also a lovely little roof top patio with excellent view of the Palace.

A great location within the walls of Avignon. Very close to the Pope's place and the main pedestrian area. A wonderful breakfast provided. A very quiet place to stay, nice accomodations, a few extra ammenities offered that a larger hotel would not offer.

Our experience with Merion (I hope I spelled her name correctly), the owner of this wonderful B and B was far and away the highlight of our recent trip to France. This is a rare find. Merion had to deal with the misfortune of some other guests who had gotten caught in the flood at Nice and were desperate for... More
