As a returning guest at Cap Estel (for several years now) I felt it only fair that I should review it so that others can enjoy what really is a little piece of heaven on earth. Faultless service , relaxed atmosphere - a great place to unwind in beautiful surroundings. Simple but quality breakfast , superbly prepared & presented food . Delightful rooms , well serviced and well insulated from the sound of waves on shingle. What one would expect from a small hotel of this calibre .

My daughters planned a day for me for my birthday : spa and lunch. I didn't expect a day on another planet, in a world of peace and beauty and harmony. One is not far from frantic Nice or Monaco and yet the tranquility here is unreal. It is a parallel reality and when it is time to leave one...

The hotel is perfectly located in a quiet surrounding facing the sea. One has a feeling of peacefulness and serenity, while being in a high class hotel with great service and amenities. Our room was facing the garden and despite its small size, was comfortable ( the bathroom was a bit small offering only one sink and little space to...

Thank you Britta S for your review of Cap Estel "Childhood Memories". I have been thinking how best to respond; I note that you spent 10 years of your childhood enjoying the property and all its facilities, no doubt with family and friends. This was the worst night sleep that we have ever had at a hotel. The thermostat (or motor from the louvers) would buzz loudly on and off every few minutes and was impossible to ignore. We were given free breakfast for our troubles, but this hardly offset the $600 we paid for a sleepless night. Decor also seemed dated and...
