We stayed for 5 nights in September and it was an excellent value. The hotel is family-ran so that you feel very safe, and owners are very friendly and attentive, communicating both in some English and French. Yves and his wife were very helpful with all our requests and inquiries (e.g. beach towels, beaches, restaurants, etc). The hotel is extremely... More

For what we paid, highly surprised with the quality spec and furnishings. Comfortable, spotless and rather stylish. Only ask, room should come with mini fridge, ideally. Mere minutes to beach, lovely cafes and rests nearby. *NB - request a room at the back of hotel, traffic from the main street out front can be very noisy. Also, the wifi can... More

To mothers and to daughters at age 20 from norway. One of the daughter writing this: The hotel is just 2 min walk from the beach, surronded by bakerys, restaurant, and the bus station which take you to cannes, nice, marineland (2$ for adults). Safe, peaceful and calm place. - The reseptionist/hotel owner is a great great man! He speaked... More

We arrived late Saturday afternoon after spending the day and night before in Nice. We were welcomed nicely but could have been offered a helping hand taking our bags up the stairs as there was no lift (luckily we're strong girls and only had hand luggage but still the offer would have been nice). Our bathroom was so outdated but... More

What this family operated hotel lacks in visual charm it makes up for in hospitality. We rented 2 rooms for 2 nights in September and found it sparkling clean with firm, comfortable beds. It is well located a 5 minute walk from the waterfront and the local train station. Breakfast (extra charge)was freshly baked croissants, bread, jams, and butter, carafes of brewed... More

Good location: short walk to the beach, city center but still pretty quiet. Nice staff. During summer, I would not recommend it to families since lots of young students go there to party - it can get noisy. Good quality/price ratio.

So i have given this 5 star because it was really good value for money. It isn't marketed as a top class hotel. It is what is is a basic, comfortable room in a great spot in Juan Les Pins. Really short walk to the beach, the train station and bars. The room was secure and clean. The reception staff... More

I stayed at au tropico hotel in october 2012 and was a nice experience. The rooms are not so impresive but are clean and the bathroom is clean and spacious. The hotel is close to the train station and to the beach but the neighbourhood seems a bit risky.

The location is excellent, really close to nice public and private beaches. The city center is also nearby. An inexpensive public parking (0.60 euro an hour, free at night) is just around the corner. The room has air conditioner. The breakfast is too expensive, so we skipped it. Unless you need jam, baguette and orange juice, I recommend buying a... More

I am a little ambivalent to this hotel, because some things were very good, whereas others were returning irritations. I stayed for almost two weeks because of work in the nearest city of Cannes. Trains were frequent during daytime and took only ten minutes (but the last one is at 20.45 on weekdays, so beware!), so Juan-les-Pins is a great... More
