This is the second time I stayed in this hotel, since for all its faults it is one of the most attractive hotels in the area based on the value for money ratio. This time I stayed in a villa, not in the main building and I enjoyed it, as there was in-room WiFi (for those staying in the main... More

I went to Menton on holiday last month and chose to stay at the Hotel club Vacanciel for 4 nights. It's a quaint hotel. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the hotel is perfectly situated to the centre of town and the beach. The room was perfectly adequate for my needs.Excellent choice for anyone!

We were two for one night after driving through the riviera from Aix en Provence. An older (classic) hotel that was converted for current use and packages. The location is great (some 3 blocks from the beach). Breakfast was so-so. On site parking is free.

On site parking free. Short walk to town which had lovely sea front. Average 3* hotel. Room a bit dated but comfortable enough. No safe. No kettle. No iron. Continental Breakfast only. Fine for overnight stay but wouldn't want to stay a week.

L`Orangeraie Club Vacanciel is a great hotel and really close to the beach and to the centre of Menton. I went to Menton for a vacation last August and I truly enjoyed this massive and old fashioned hotel. The staff at reception were from England and they were at the hotel for summer work experience. They were friendly and really... More

Elegant, but rather sinister hotel in the senter of Menton. Stayed there for 2 nights in october. Friendly, but very formal staff who spoke very little english. Rooms smell old, but beds were clean and comfortable, nice bathroom. Make sure you get a room facing the front. Ours overlooked the parking lot and railwaytrack, and the noise from trains passing... The hotel is conveniently located, rather central, not far from the beach, close to the railway and bus station. The lucky ones whose rooms were located at the front side of the building can admire beautiful view of the garden adjacent to the hotel. My room was situated at the back side of the building and overlooked parking area and... More

Close to the center, the beaches (but not the sandy ones), the shops, the restaurants. Building is very elegant from the outside but....the inside is a bit sinister, the breakfast is terrible (like a cantine), staff is not knowledgeable about garden visits, beaches, etc.... Do be careful about not getting a room in the back as it is very close... More

A really nice hotel with lovely garden area. The building is full of character although maybe the rooms could do with brightening up a little. The staff were extremely helpful. The car park is good for 7 euros a day and your right in the centre. We would stay there again.
