we just stop there to get a suit and a coffee. We choose tarte au citron and a chocolaté cake > The famous suit arrived freezing with ice in the middle. The coffee was not hot . Definitly avoid this club Balambra.

Stayed in the Belambra in Menton for a week. Perfect location with front on sea side, and back entrance in shopping street. Room was quite large, very high ceiling giving sense of extra space. Room was clean, with replacement of sheets and towels daily. So infrastructure is more than ok. We had half board formula, with breakfast and diner every...

I had a room with a mountain view. The walls were not sound proof as I could hear my neighbour's television. Wifi has improved as you can get it for every 24 hrs period that you are there and in your room. I would have liked to have tea/coffee making facility in my room though. My stay included breakfast and...

Stayed here for a week in late August/early September - hotel was busy but didn't feel too crowded. Facilities in the hotel are a bit basic - no pool, tea/coffee making services and Wifi only works in the reception, requires you to log on every 30 minutes and if you move only a few feet from the reception, the connection...

My wife and I recently stayed at the Belambra Le Vendome. The location right on the front of the promenade is very good and you are near all the bars, cafes and ice cream parlours in the pedestrian street to the rear of the hotel. The hotel is exceptionally clean and well maintained throughout. The room maids were very cheery...

The hotel is in the Vieux Menton, the old, historical part of the city. It is renovated and well kept. Our room was large, with sea view , with a wonderful view at any time of the day. It can be a bit noisy but worth the view. The back of the hotel has a no traffic area with numerous...

A reasonably nice 80's style hotel , only offered half board which was very regimented . An orderly queue of elderly people formed 15 mins before the restaurant door was unlocked promptly at 7.30 pm . Not suitable for families or adults under retirement age . Some very odd corporate policies , insisted on charging €3 per night to use...

After careful consideration I chose this hotel as a base for a 5 day stay to explore the Côte d'Azur. I wanted to stay in Menton due to it being off the main tourist trail, it's quieter atmosphere, and it's excellent location. I was not disappointed! I didn't hear an American accent once during my stay (no disrespect to Americans...
