Staying here with a group of ten friends for a road cycling long weekend. The Hotel is only a short hop from the airport. The staff are friendly and helpful and mostly speak good English. Rooms are fairly basic but clean and comfortable with en suite bathrooms. The car park is locked at night and there is a secluded gated...

Typical – or what one expects to be typically British, tea and silver milk-pots. Quiet, guests' average age 80. Safe, walled and gated, you have to know the code word to get in and take pictures. Anton Chekhov lived there – in 1890s the place belonged to a Russian lady who could make a very good borsch cheapely. Don’t worry...

Really good location. Small but clean room with a comfortable bed. Tiny shower with shower curtain not great but overall for the very reasonable price it was perfect for a long weekend in the heart of beautiful Nice.

The room and the bathroom are clean, and the most important for me is the air conditioning are working well. No noisy, pretty calm. So great!!! The stuff are friendly too. The location are just perfect, Close to the supermarket, beach and train station.

My friend and I only booked this place because it was cheap on short notice- well worth it! We loved this hotel! It is not only nice and cozy but also well worth the money with it situated a 5 min walk from the train station, and 10-15min walk from the main shopping areas with the metro, as well as...

Our stay was split between the ground floor in the annex building - must have been a outhouse / garage /barns etc now fully converted inti a large room plus bathroom. This is one of the larger rooms available and perfectly adequate. The hotel rooms are slightly smaller but again are quite adequate and for the price...good value for money....

In plus: Staff was very friendly and polite. Location really good between railway station (which is handy if you travel by train across Cote D'Ázur) and promenade. In minus: Definitely did not like paper-thin walls. You can hear absolutely everything what is happening at your neighbors. Each night we could not fall asleep until people who lived above us went...

This was a very lucky find. It's within walking of the train station and bus routes as well as the Old town and beach. It is set away from the road, which isn't a main road anyway and with the trees and vegetation it it very calm and peaceful. Thierry on reception was lovely. The rooms themselves weren't big but...
