The hotel is in a perfect location for Nice: close to the beaches, close to Vieux Nice, with its market and restaurants, and close to transportation to sights. The staff was helpful and the rooms (European in size) were clean. Breakfast was very good. The only problem is that the bed were softer than we like.

The location of this hotel is almost perfect but I am surprised that it was given a 3 star rating. It is clean (ish) and decent. The bed is rather small, and we are not big people. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. They allowed us to see 2 rooms before chosing the most suitable for us. I really...

We had taken the high speed train from Paris, needed to spend a night in Nice. Perfect choice. Albert 1er is an old place, but clean. We had a room on the 4th floor with a small balcony that overlooked a lovely park across the street. The waterfront to our left and the heart of the tourist stores restaurants and...

Location, Location. Just a public bus ride from Nice airport for a few euros then within walking distance of the old town, flower markets and to the buses for Monaco and coastal towns. Only two minutes from the beach this hotel is very good value. A bit jaded but with character..loved the shell design sink and bidet. Breakfast was enjoyable...

We were a group of 80 people from Melbourne Australia on a 5 week private European tour This was our first hotel staying four nights. The hotel was reasonable for the price but the MANAGEMENT OF THE HOTEL left a lot to be desired. On arrival without advising our Tour Organizer we found the Manager had booked half of us...

The best thing about this hotel is the location - it is less than a minute walk from the beach, 5 minutes into the heart of the old town, and the airport bus stops within a few metres of the hotel. We stayed in mid September and the hotel was still busy. Our room was on the first floor (104)...

Dirty in total disrepair. Bathrooms broken tile, shower disgusting, grime and dirt in rugs. Salvation Army would reject the furniture, beds and bedspreads as a donation. Surly desk people who were unhelpful and angry toward the guests. Stay away!

We stayed here mid July 2011 - The hotel is right on the beautiful beach and great walking access to the bus and shops and the beach, of course. It is an older hotel and our rooms seemed small, but adequate. If you do not spend much time in the room, it is a good choice. If you arrive by...

This hotel is was an awful experience. It is very old and not kept up well at all. It is near the water, but that doesn't make up for the fact that it is a scary place to stay. The rooms were dusty and extremely small. The bathrooms were dirty and our toilet and hair dryer were broken. The worst...
