My boyfriend and I arrived in St. Paul de Vence around 8:30pm, it was dark and I felt like I was in a fairy tale! The hotel is right in the middle of the town, and our Lilas room had a beautiful view over the entire valley. The decor wasn't luxurious, but so charming with the little columns, whimiscal curtains,...

Maybe this kind of place is okay when you're a student or something. It is definitely reasonably priced, and a great location, if you want to stay in the town (which I don't think I'd do again - too touristed up, and it totally shuts down at night, except for a handful of over-priced restaurants), but it is shabby to...

We arrived in the evening without a reservation. Even though the travel book states that rooms range from 39E to 91E, we were charged 85E for a room on the street rather than viewing the valley. This is considered low season. There is no air conditioning, hence you must leave the window open. The noise from the small street continued...

Our booking confirmation arrived with a...

This is supposed to be a hostel but we had one of the most beautiful rooms I have ever stayed in. St Paul de Vence is incredibly pretty and this hotel just fits right in.

St Paul De Vence is truly a beautiful place and I would recommend a visit but only for a day! We stayed at les Remparts Hotel, a rather shabby chic experience with little or no customer service. We arrived midday and the streets were bustling, however, when we emerged from our room about 8.30 that evening, the streets were deserted!...

This small old-world hotel was only €54 a night and the room we had was superb, breakfast not included in the price but you can pay for it and eat there. It was one of the more memorable hotels in Provence
