We decided to stop for a coffee here during our visit to Gordes. Huge mistake!!! Although the location is lovely, the prices are horrendous. We had a beautiful coffee and biscuit each - see attached picture - but when the bill arrived we found they had cost 6.20 Euros each!!! As a footnote, Gordes was the only place we visited...

We were desperate for a drink on a hot day in Gordes, so we ordered two glasses of vin ordinaire blanc. We got very small measures & the wine wasn't good. The bill for these two drinks was 19.80 Euros. Totally outrageous! Avoid this rip off place.

Desperate to sit outside & enjoy a drink here as used as Fanny Chanel's bistro in Russell Crowe film 'A Good Year' (in fact, a commercial catering set up was opposite preparing lunch as we sat there). Lovely setting & chuffed to have achieved my small ambition but €15 for 1 glass wine & 1 beer so went on for...

It was a very wet and windy Sunday en Provence and we wanted to find somewhere to eat lunch. A roaring log fire greeted us. The waiting staff were charming. The food was delicious as was the wine.
