If I were you I would skip. Staff were nice but the bathroom and room had little bugs flying around in the room and bathroom. Just Average Hotel but a great locations. Will stay at Les Bords De Mer next time like I knew I should have.

We woke to light in our room at 1am from the hallway. As my husband got up the door shut and room went dark. We asked reception to check cameras to see who had entered our room. We slept both nights with table across our door for safety. Reception said they would get technicisn to check cameras as he only one with access. Got receptioinist to come to room as even though door locked you could still open with card. No contact from anyone advising they checked cameras. Didnt reply to emails sent to manager. Not safe to stay here. God knows what would have happened if we didnt wake!

Great place. We liked the room; it was original, well-decorated and very large (for three). The bathroom (shower only) was nice too. We loved the location, just perfect, in the center of the city. We would return.

We stayed 3 nights at this lovely hotel and were entirely delighted. We upgraded to a de luxe room with a terrace and found we had a huge bed and the terrace had stunning views of the Old Port and stupendous sunsets. Our room was on the 6th floor (601, they said it was the best room) and no problems waiting for the lift. It was large and had a large bathroom with walk in shower and bath and bath robes and slippers. The hairdryer was quality and worked a treat. Towels were plentiful and hugely fluffy. Shampoo, shower gel and body lotion were provided. Breakfast was small and tasteful and there was plenty of choice but it had to be replenished a lot because space was short but that wasn't a problem. The staff were friendly and helpful and we loved the location of the hotel right by the middle of the old port surrounded by shops and restaurants with Galeries Lafayette to the rear. It was 500 yards to the hop on hop off bus and 600 yards to the little train which is essential to get to the Madonna of the Garde at the top of the hill. The boat trips out to the Count of Monte Cristo island are even closer and I absolutely loved this. I would have liked a couple of easy chairs in the room and a magnifying mirror and more than 4 coat hangers but these are small matters compared to the overall ambience and pleasure of staying here. We would highly recommend this delightful hotel to anyone wanting somewhere central but refined to stay.

the hotel is well located but they air conditioning was not working and as a result the whole experience was bad. Additionally, the booking system had an issue, and whilst when I booked I am sure I looked for breakfast included, once I was there I had to pay for it. Other guests had the same issue both with air conditioning and with the breakfast. Overall I cannot recommend it.

This hotel is rated 4 stars for a very basic service & amenities!!it's all started at the reception desk where the attendant was lacking customer service skills ,no warm greetings,no smile. The room was ok,no bar fridge to keep some cool water during the heat wave however the view from the top was great.

Clean and comfortable however the only problem with this hotel is that they will not allow check in before 3pm. This causes congestion and frustration come this hour when large queues build up. This is unlike any other hotels I've stayed in who allow you to Che k in as and when rooms become available.

The worst experience I’ve ever had in any hotel! Myself and my partner checked into this hotel and within an hour I realised that the aircon wasn’t working and it’s was over 30 degrees with no air at all coming in so I went to reception and the staff member was smoking his cigarette and told me that they were aware of the problem and someone was there to fix it - his attitude was dismissive but I thought as long as it’s fixed it will be ok.. two hours passed and I felt nauseous so I again went to reception and spoke to the same man who seemed annoyed that I asked again what the story was .. this was at 6.30pm I asked him for a Can at least because it was so so hot with no air coming in and he was dismissive again and told me they were trying to fix it - I left the hotel and went for dinner and I came back at 10pm and I asked a different receptionist was the aircon fixed and he said unfortunately not, I asked him did he have a fan at least - he said no sorry - I asked could we move to another room and he said the hotel was full . At 11pm me and my partner went on to booking.com to look for another room in another hotel because we couldn’t breath and no air was coming in the window only about 40 mosquitoes . The first hotel to come up was this hotel do in fact they did have spare rooms for other people but not the people who who have already paid 150 euro for a room that was like a sauna filled with mosquitoes- so the receptionist lied to us he just didn’t want to do his job and look after the customers staying there. The whole night we were awake and trying to kill the mosquitoes that were biting us and flying into our ears - horrendous! The noise outside was unbelievable… all night, ambulances, scooters and then construction started up again at 6am ! I would never recommend such a badly run hotel to anyone ! No spoons for the coffee, no bin liners in any of the bins, stains on the toilet wall ! I sent three emails to the manager and no reply ! Disgraceful

A lovely boutique hotel in the perfect location beside the port / marina. All of the room our group had were unique differing in size but all were clean and comfortable with a great shower. Breakfast is continental style cleverly presented in the reception area. A wide range of options to choose from with cooked sausage & egg, fruit, pastries, cheese, cold meats with hot and cold drinks. The one issue was the proximity to a church and the bells from 8am ... no need for an alarm !! They do love their church bells in Marseilles so I wouldnt think there would be too many places not impacted by the ringing.
