The Ibis is in the old town, overlooking the port. Close to everything, though not particularly close to the train station. My room and I think others are the same, combined modern minimalist decor of the Ibis brand, with the arches, columns and exposed wood ceiling beams. Really pretty and lots of character. I had breakfast in the hotel and... More

It's fine. It does the job. Bed was comfortable pillows were comfortable. Bathroom smelt a little. Good location. Lift was out of order like all the other ibis budget hotels. Didnt try the cafeteria. Staff were OK

This hotel saved us following an AirB&B disaster and it was such a relief to check in to a clean, bright, secure room. Basic facilities but it has everything you need. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the location is amazing, this hotel is right beside the Port in the very centre of the city and in the... More

The hotel is really well located to the Port area and all of 100m away from a whole range of bars and eateries, including the much loved Hard Rock Café. You really couldn’t pick a better hotel geographically. The reception area was poorly decorated for Euro 2016, if made the area feel quite tacky and to make matters worse, the... More

Really good location in the port, close to restaurants and bars. Room basic but just what you need. Bathroom was not clean by any stretch of the imagination. Parking onsite but isn't always available and not suitable for large cars.

It's a budget hotel and don't expect anything else, the rooms facing the court yard are really quiet but do suffer with lack of light. I prefer quiet, so had a room in the old block on floor 2, which was ok, bed was fine, bathroom tired but functioned as it should. I didn't choose the breakfast as there are... More

I was only in Marseille for 2 nights in total for the European Championship Semi Finals and this was the only hotel available. The hotel was very basic but the location is superb as you are literally 2 minutes away from the port itself. All the nightlife and restaurants were located around our hotel which was perfect! Our room did... More

It's Ibis Budget and thus shouldn't expect any extra. In fact, it is very basic. But if you only need a room with a toilet and shower, then it serves its purpose. Not difficult to find: about 10 minutes' walk from the main rail station. It's 3 minutes' walk to Vieux Port. So, many restaurants around and not difficult to... More
