We stayed in the highest spec room (called Privilege) which was spacious and superbly appointed. The views over the peaks of Mont Blanc were simply breath-taking. The hotel is located very centrally in Chamonix. It is really nice just to step out the of the hotel entrance and the centre of Chamonix is just a stone's throw from you. For...

Clean, modern, close to town, helpful staff, balcony perfect if not for construction crew right next door gutting the 5 floors. 4 stars, would stay again. Lobby bar had nice selection of wines, liquor and beer.

This hotel is in a great location, private parking. The room was big enough for 4 people. The bathroom was big with a nice tub. We had a view of Mont blanc from our room. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially, Theo. The price was great in May.

First time ski experience in Chamonix with my Austrian private guide.Off piste skiing very challenging on the glaciers with Mt Blanc dominating.Absolutely spectacular scenery. Mercure somewhat disappointing.Rooms are very small and not like web photos. Mould on bathroom ceiling disconcerting. No room upgrade with my Platinum Accor Card.Priority was given to week-enders. Dining room was surprisingly good with efficient, friendly...

Excellent location with a few minutes walk to the centre of the town, with an abundance of shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel is in 2 buildings, we were across the road from the main building in a Superior room (sleeps 4). There were 3 of us. There is a hotel carpark underground at 20euros per night but we used...

Highly recommend this place. Clean and tidy, a small balcony & located in the centre. Food served is typical French and international. With a few steps you could reach the bus for the most beautiful ski area's.

Very nice stay at Mercure Chamonix. Correct hotel, good service and facilities. Breakfast is very good. A bit expensive, but this is normal in Europe. Wi-fi is the low point in the hotel, but in total, I really enjoyed my stay at Mercure Chamonix.

Initially booked a superior room for 3 friends for a short 4 night skiing break. Just before the trip, added a 4th person for which there was going to be an additional supplement of 130 euros which seemed a bit on the steep side considering we had already paid a considerable amount for the room. When we arrived, the room...

The location of this hotel is perfect, just 5 mins walk (maximum) from a plethora of restaurants, shops and bars but equally not right amongst the bars! There is a train line behind the hotel but this didn't disrupt our stay or more specifically sleep. The staff are excellent and courteous with nothing being too much trouble. Great restaurant, breakfast...
