There is no better view of Mont Blanc and L'Aiguille du Midi than from the balcony of the Auberge du Manoir in Chamonix. Actually, the view from the breakfast room is pretty terrific too. This was our second stay at the hotel and we had no hesitation in coming back after our first visit two years ago. We had superior... More

I loved this hotel, very quaint, clean rooms, lovely breakfast, and helpful staff. Only needed a lift and it would have been perfect! Going up and down 3 flights of stairs at my age with luggage is tough. I am pretty sure that the staff would have carried it up if I asked.

I didn't actually stay here. My reservation was for 2 nights. During the reservation process, the hotel was very clear that there was no check-in after 9:30. This was clear so I don't blame the hotel for this. But with as many flight delays there are nowadays, don't book this hotel or any family-run hotel that does not offer late... More

Location is within walking distance to the town center. Very nice garden and view outside the auberge. The couple manning the hotel is very friendly and helpful to us The interior is wooden and cozy. We enjoyed our 1 night stay there.

Spent 4 nights at Auberge du Manoir in late August for a climbing trip to Mont Blanc. The outside of the hotel is truly lovely, pleasing to the eye instantly. The grounds are well manicured, abundant with bright, colorful flowers and carved wooden statues of bears and owls. Our room had two balconies with tremendous views of the mountains. The... More

Positives: The property was clean and cheerful. The reception was welcoming. The rooms were very comfortable with everything we could need and the bathrooms were generous in size. We had jet lag upon arriving, so not sure if it was that the beds were amazingly comfortable or if it was that we were so tired but slept like a rock... More

We stayed here five years ago and always wanted to return. As before, very warm, welcoming and hospitable. It felt like a home away from home and we were all sad to leave. Liked the breakfast, and also the lounge where we could regroup together at times during the day and evening. Just for the logistics: free parking, near town... More

My husband and myself stayed here for 4 days and really enjoyed it. It has a very warm and friendly atmosphere. The owner and his wife were very friendly. He greeted us each day at breakfast, focused the telescope on climbers far ahead making their way up Mont Blanc and serving us fresh warm pastries each day. The bread here... More

Beautiful immaculately presented hotel in an ideal spot close to the centre of town. Amazing views of Mount Blanc from bedroom balcony, great breakfasts, very pleasant hosts. Lastly thank you to the owners pet dog & cat who entertained us in the lovely garden whilst we waited for our taxi to the airport - they were very sweet!

The owner and his wife Muriel were very kind and accommodating and we loved her yoghurt (which they graciously printed the recipe and gave it to us). The rooms were average, but just what was needed, with a beautiful view of Mont Blanc. The breakfast was very good and well worth the extra money! However, i was very disappointed at... More
