We are a family of 4 adults (one member is Gluten Free) who have just spent a wonderful week in Chamonix at the Chalet Hotel Le Sapiniere. We arrived at 10:30pm and were welcomed with a beautifully cooked hot meal – not too heavy as we were then straight to bed. There followed a week of excellent service from a...

This is the third time that I have been to La Sapiniere and if anything it has got better. The holiday was reasonable and the accommodation excellent. The food was very good and the wine was free with the evening meal. Packed lunches are provided six days a week. Once a week guests dine out at their own expense on...

Would definitely stay again at the Sapiniere. Had great service from all the staff and resort rep, who is based at the hotel, all very helpful, whether recommending a walk or where to eat on the staff day off. Stayed in Room 43, newer part, constant hot water, fantastic views. Food was excellent, choice of hot food at breakfast, choice...

After reading the many helpful reviews already on trip advisor, there doesn't seem to be much more to add! However, I feel I must comment on the strange review by Lizharrop The room photo in inghams 2015 brochure was identical to ours so it is not staged. Before leaving, I looked around some rooms in the new wing which are...

The staff in this Chalet hotel are fantastic; They were all friendly and helpful but special thanks to Becky who was so knowledgeable about the area and helped us decide what to do on a rainy day. The food is great; cooked breakfast, afternoon tea and a 3 course dinner. Tea and coffee available all day and a bottle of...

We loved the buzzing town of Chamonix, set in such spectacular scenery. The Inghams chalet hotel provided us with lovely food including packed lunches and afternoon tea. The staff were smashing. We had a wonderful view of Mont Blanc from our room.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Arguably the best located hotel in Chamonix. The Savoy nursery slopes are literally just over the road from the hotel, from where the Savoy téléski lift whisks you up to the Brévent gondola, to access one of the best intermediate areas in the resort.Alternatively, the ski-bus to Chamonix's other ski areas stops just 50m away. The hotel's attractive dining room has semi-circular bay windows with stunning views of Mont Blanc. Here you will enjoy Inghams great choice of menus and complimentary quality wines for dinner. Inghams offer the conviviality of larger tables for chalet-style dining with your fellow guests, or the opportunity to dine à deux should you wish. The atmospheric lounge/bar welcomes you for your pre-dinner apéritif and canapés, or to relax after dinner over coffee and a night-cap ... more   less
