What extra can I say about this hotel that has not been said before. The lovely staff helped so much to make our stay in Chamonix so good. The hotel is in a fantastic setting, it does need some updating though Inghams has updated the bathrooms, but our bathrooms drains Stank all the time we were there, the drains do need...

Becki and staff - Katie, Dec, Angus, Fergus, Hannah, Lizzie and everyone we haven't remembered really made the stay at La Sapiniere . A warm friendly welcome. Excellent food , plenty of choice and free flowing wine. Afternoon tea and cake was always welcome and gave you chance to catch up with other guests and share experiences. After dinner quizzes...

La Sapiniere hotel is situated a short walk from the town. You cannot fault the meals with bottles of wine on all tables at the evening meals. The breakfast buffet was out of this world with so much selection.

This is not a 5 star facility from the fixtures and fittings point of view.We were in the older part of the hotel with well worn and slightly run down furniture. Having said that the bathroom was new, the bed was very comfortable and the view from the balcony was brilliant. The staff were 5 star though, looking after us...

Second visit ( see review Sept 2014 ). Great value for money but the same general comments I made about the hotel last September still apply. Staff still good but not quite as good as last year's top notch team of boys and girls, likewise with the food (but of course all this can change as the year goes on...

Lovely hotel and excellent location. View of Mont Blanc from our balcony was stunning. On arrival staff were very welcoming and meals were provided despite it being late in the evening. Food was first rate and the service was excellent. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

The first thing that hits you is the mountain views, the best of anywhere we've stayed. The Sapiniere is a short, mostly flat walk into town but being next to the Savoy Meadows (where the paragliders land) there is nothing to get in the way of Mont Blanc and the surrounding peaks. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food...

When we arrived after a 3 hour delay, hot and tired the staff welcomed us with open arms carrying our bags to the room and making tea and cakes for us, excellent welcome (which continued all holiday). The room was basic but clean and wow the views were spectacular. The evening started at 7pm with canapes and aperitif and then...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Arguably the best located hotel in Chamonix. The Savoy nursery slopes are literally just over the road from the hotel, from where the Savoy téléski lift whisks you up to the Brévent gondola, to access one of the best intermediate areas in the resort.Alternatively, the ski-bus to Chamonix's other ski areas stops just 50m away. The hotel's attractive dining room has semi-circular bay windows with stunning views of Mont Blanc. Here you will enjoy Inghams great choice of menus and complimentary quality wines for dinner. Inghams offer the conviviality of larger tables for chalet-style dining with your fellow guests, or the opportunity to dine à deux should you wish. The atmospheric lounge/bar welcomes you for your pre-dinner apéritif and canapés, or to relax after dinner over coffee and a night-cap ... more   less
