Helpful staff - available 24hrs a day. Hotel is located across from the train station and very close to the center of town. The rooms are comfortable although could have had more space (we had a lot of luggage). Overall I'm glad we stayed here - it was 5 nights and no complaints

Stayed here before and after an alpine trek. The rooms were comfortable and well equipped. The restaurant and bar were good. The food, including the packed lunches, was excellent. The staff were all helpful and smiling. They spoke very good English and also interpreted my poor French. Particularly enjoyed the room with a balcony overlooking the road into town. Very...

We had lost our maps in the navi when we arrived the hotel. The fantastic girl in the reiception downloaded Garmin express and updated our navi's for free when we had our beer. This was The best stay we in our 13 day trip. Also the staff with the best english skills.

Great hotel in a great location with a really nice buffet breakfast! Rooms are a bit dated, with some bathrooms needing proper showers installed. Really comfy beds and staff were great! Would be amazing if there were bar fridges and coffee/tea facilities in the rooms. Overall great experience!

Stayed for 1 week in March 16 while skiing. Overall I was very impressed. My room, on the fourth floor was spacious, clean and comfortable and had a balcony looking onto Mt Blanc. An added bonus was that it was far enough away from the Chambre Neuf, the bar which was unbelievably noisy and rowdy. Great, I presume if you...

The main problem was that we were staying in a room in the corner of the hotel that is right across the road from a bar that stays open until the early hours of the morning. This meant that we were unable to sleep and this was a problem when we had to be up early for skiing lessons for...

Only stayed 1 night en-route, arrived at 7pm when après-ski in full swing! Amazing atmosphere (more like Austria) Scandinavian group, people dancing on tables and doing conga in packed bar! All finished by 8pm and peace resumed. Lovely old building right opposite rail station so very handy if you arrive by train. Beds really comfy, good plentiful breakfast and polite,helpful...

My husband and I stayed at the Gustavia for 3 nights. There were 2 spacious rooms that could sleep more people even though we booked the room for 2. They had the pullout couch made up as a bed for us when we arrived. There was a door between the two rooms and each room had 2 windows with a...

My husband and I stayed in the Hotel Gustavia for one week from 23rd to 30th January 2016. The hotel is fairly small and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. As there is a bar attached to the hotel which does Apres Ski it can get quite noisy although the hotel tries their be to keep the noise...

4 night ski weekend break: Decent room, very comfy beds and more pillows than needed (so ignore any previous threads on the subject!). Plentiful hot water, decent showers, excellent food (half board basis is a great deal), all staff (mostly Scandinavian as hotel is Swedish-owned apparently) were wonderful - polite, attentive and always helpful. Chambre Neuf bar for après-ski is something...
