This was our first visit since Neil sold the Hotel sometime after 2013. The Hotel has been improved in terms of decor and the wifi now is excellent with a Ping in our room over 40 mbs. Staff were on the whole very helpful. If I add the brilliant ski room you will ask why just 3* total? Well, I...

We travelled to the Courcheneige on the 11th March 2017 having stayed at the hotel on several previous occasions. Before we travelled we were aware of the recent poor reviews with particular reference to the restaurant but the Courcheneige management had assured us that the problems experienced at the beginning of the season had been ironed out. We could find...

Our third visit to the Courcheneige. One of the best ski-in-ski-out locations from any hotel in the biggest ski area in the world. Hotel recently renovated which was necessary. Friendly staff, but sadly the buffet breakfast can really be improved for this standard of hotel.

After booking this holiday I spent an inordinate amount of time checking TripAdvisor for up to date reviews following the hotel refurbishment this winter...it didn't inspire much confidence... Since we arrived on Saturday night, however, I haven't been anything other than pleasantly surprised. Our flight (sleazyjet. nightmare.) was delayed and Geneva airport was chaos so it took forever for our...

The Courcheneige Hotel is under new management. After what would seem to be a rocky start in December 2016, the hotel now appears to be running smoothly and our stay of one week in late February was both enjoyable and fun. Our refurbished room (triple - north facing) was both comfortable and clean. Whilst it was small, the room suited...

Beautiful and charming lounge area with a great sunny terrace along the ski slopes. The rooms have everything you need and the staff is very friendly. Unfortunately no spa, only a jacuzzi outside. The restaurant offers a nice variety of appetizers (buffett) but the main course (if you book half-board) was average. Outstanding was the service in the ski shop...

Having been here before, enjoying the outstanding location and rustic nature of "old" Courcheneige, I hesitated based on reviews. After a fab week in remodeled rooms, greatly improved public areas, and a rocking ski valet service, I completely agree with Marc David below: it appears to be an English campaign against Courcheneige. Details: Rooms have all you need and they...

I have stayed at Courcheneige on several occasions for more than 25 years. This year our family of 10 stayed for skiing holidays 8 days in February. The Hotel is renovated and new management has taken over. Renovation is fine and has increased the standard; but the new management has many smaller problems to solve before the place is considered...

It was only a matter of time before the inevitable happened and sadly it now has. Have never stayed at this hotel but was always a great place to stop for refreshments and lunch. Prices always seemed to good to be true for the location, and the bar had such a lovely atmosphere with a fire, comfy sofas and friendly...

Not very good. Been staying most years since 1992. Will need serious persuading to venture back.Like most other reviews boot room a huge improvement.Public areas decor good except fires and candles only lit on Friday night when leaving Saturday why? Bar prices hiked 50% plus on last year prices. Historically deemed good value. Happy for prices rose go up a...
