I stayed here early July 2014. The hotel is in an old building, which is charming but also means that it has wooden (=creaky) floors. Room was very small; walls seemed to be made of cardboard. Tiny bathroom, toilet not properly secured to the floor. Bed was just 190 cm long, which is too small for a tall guy. Larger...

The location of the hotel is very good. the rooms are clean and the front desk guy was nice. The rooms are also minimal. there is no kettle in the room, not even a plastic bag for laundry. All amenities, as they might be are minimal.

The hotel is small, simple and intimate. It is well located in the centre of the city, close to shopping and sights. Next to a tramway stop, public transportation by the remarkably good public transport system is easy to the bus and rail stations as well as the the universities, research centres and other important destinations. The breakfast room is...

Six of us recently stayed at Hotel de l'Europe for a couple of nights whilst visiting Grenoble to watch rugby. The hotel is very well located in the centre of the town - and I know Grenoble is a city, but the centre feels more like a large town. The lobby is light and airy with some interesting sculptures -...

I reserved this hotel for some family that was coming over. The team is friendly and helpful. I got a fantastic price for 3 nights during the weekend: 68 euro with 2 breakfasts included per night. Comfortable room on the 4th floor with a fantastic view of the Bastille and Place Grenette. Beautiful decor in the hotel with authentic stair...

Stayed here for 1 week while attending a conference at the hospital. Room is of average quality, but the bed is really hard. Tended to be warm at night but the A/C didn't really work (worked according to French not American standards) and it was so noisy outside that opening the windows was not possible. Room is not well designed...

stayed here for 2 nights on business. It is located in the nicest part of Grenoble - on place Grenette with very close proximity to restaurants, bars, cafes etc. I had a decent size room (double bed) and breakfast for 2 nights for 145 euro which is good value. The hotel was very clean and the staff I met were...

Small room and small bathroom, but clean and quite comfortable. Free wifi in the room. Nice breakfast. Cheap parking nearby. Do not expect a top class hotel for this price, but we had nothing to complain about.

We booked in on a whim and what a pleasant surprise. Small but clean and recently renovated room with all the essentials. Many overlooking the main pedestrian square with a small balcony and a mountain view. Very friendly lively and helpful staff. Decent breakfast for 9 euro. Things I wish we'd known before booking - It's hard to access by...
