We spent 3 nights in Lyon in September. Arriving by car was a bit tricky. When you drive by to drop off the luggage and then do a pick-up when leaving, you essentially block all traffic for a few minutes because the street is so narrow -- no other way around that, but most people are quite tolerant. There are... More

I stayed for two lovely nights recently at this beautiful apartment guesthouse in the silk- weavers area. The apartment itself is interesting, being renovated with skylights and little indoor garden, and high ceilings (? Silk weavers' working area?) The room was charming, looking into inner courtyard and with deep claw bath in separate bathroom. Very pretty. Karine is a warm... More

Our room was big, clean, comfortable, convenient, well-designed. My husband and I couldn't have been happier. The house is a charming mix of old and new. The neighborhood is incredibly convenient to historic sites and museums, the rivers and restaurants as well as the artsy and hip croix-rousse district. Public transit is also nearby. Breakfast was tasty with a mix... More

Karine made it feel we were home. She offers an incredible spread for breakfast, with local specialties, great teas and coffee. At the end of our stay of few days, we were chit-chatting like old friends. She is also a great local guide. Looking forawrd to returning next time we visit Lyon.

Karine is a delightful and friendly person who warmly welcomed us into her beautiful home. The residence is very unusual and striking as it should be after all the hard work she and her partner have done on it. Excellent value for money- sensational breakfast which included Karine's home made jams and a baked treat every morning- friands and a... More

Hi Australian guests, thank you so much for your review and I appreciate that you enjoy the house and the breakfast. I'm very confused that you didn't find how to turn on the bedside lamps on tables. You are right, luggage rack is not a thing you will find easely in France in a bed and breakfast or an hotel.... More

Karine is a sweet hostess and her home is gorgeous, if not a bit smaller than you might expect for a bed & breakfast. Do pay attention to all the directions you receive from her as the property is set back from the street and you need a code to get into the courtyard to pass through to her home.... More

My wife and I had a wonderful time we had at your quaint B&B (a converted 18th century silk factory). The interior was amazing (see the pics of the property)! Karine, the owner was very hospitable and friendly. The room was tastefully furnished and the feeling in the house tranquil and calm. The breakfast we received was magnifique! We still... More

The woman who runs this place is amazing. Extremely friendly and hospitable. She also makes the best jam I have ever tasted: Apricots with lavender; strawberry with fresh mint; etc. We would have bought some to take away with us if we had been able to take it on the plane. Our room also had a MASSIVE bathtub, that could... More
