Had I had the choice my overall rating would actually have been good, rather than very good. The thing that really sells this hotel is its location for the tourist visiting Lyon. It is within easy walking distance of the main shopping streets, the tourist office, the bus route for the sightseeing bus, numerous restaurants and bars, etc etc. Really...

In the middle of Down Town. 2 minutes to all the restaurants and bars where nightlife takes place and all the shopping, from luxury to normal is placed. Hotel has reasonable sized rooms, very clean and very quiet. The spring box bed was exceptional. Rest of the interior straight forward and in very good condition. Personal was very friendly and...

This hotel is located in the heart of Lyon. It is very close to all attractions, restaurants and shops. Walking around is very practical for those who are not familiar with the city. Unfortunately, we had only one night in Lyon, which is not enough time for this nice city. However, staying in this nice hotel allowed us to do...

A great hotel. Well located near to Vieux Lyon, in the middle of a shopping zone and close to restaurants. Our room was comfortable with everything required for a 2 night stay. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

Standard room had a window to back yard, not nice, terrible view just looking to other hotel rooms. Room was very outdated and dark because there was no natural lighth. Hotel official photos very different than hotel actually.

Dear Traveller, Thank you very much for your review regarding your stay at Mercure Lyon Centre Beaux-Arts ! I am really sorry to read your disappointment. The first thing you would notice is the proximity to shops and restaurants. Service was exceptional, breakfast had good choices. Room was appropriate but have to comment on the toilet and bath, it had only a tub/shower in one, slippery and had no handle bars. Quite difficult and scary to get in and out of the tub. Hopefully they would...

The hotel is very conveniently located in the heart of Lyon, therefore it is possible to walk around and visit the most popular monuments and areas. Rooms are very nice, big and clean. Staff is helpful but not as "professional" as I would have expected. The main problem with this hotel (for me) is the absence of a private parking,...

This hotel is ideally located for a weekend break in Lyon. The old town is a 10 min walk away and the hotel is surrounded by great restaurants and cafes for breakfast and dinner. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was good. The only slight negative it is that the bed was a little hard....

We had prepaid our stay at this hotel, which is something we rarely do. As Accor Plus Silver members however, we got an excellent rate so decided to prepay a few weeks before our trip.
