We stayed for one night with our teenage daughter and thought that 129 Euro was good value. The suite actually felt like a small appartment. You step into a hallway off of which is a large bathroom, a well equipped kitchen, a bedroom and a large lounge/diner with fold down bed. The hotel is in a pleasant residential area and...

We stayed in this hotel in August 2010 - August by the way is when Lyon is 'dead' , almost everyone is gone on holiday. We paid on-line E142 per night, inclusive of breakfast, for a one bedroom suite which was excellent value. The suites lack a degree of charm but they are functional and are impeccably clean. The bed...

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights late July 2010 with 3 children aged 3-9. The suite was actually huge (executive suite), with a large living room, a spacious bedroom and a seperate kitchen. The decor is not stylish, but nice and not (that) outdated. The hotel itself seems to be a combined business hotel (long stay) and during the...

Decided to treat ourselves to a stay here on our last night in France. There were 5 of us, 3 adults and 2 children so a suite actually worked out cheaper than getting hotel rooms. This was the childrens first experience of staying in a hotel and I fear any subsequent stays will be a dissappointment. Their faces and cries...

Spent two nights here and loved everything about it. The front desk staff could not have been more pleasant or helpful. Nice quiet neighborhood, huge suite. A bit of a walk to the metra but close to the river and across from a fabulous park. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

The suites here are just like the apartments that millions of middle class French people live in. If you compare the Reine Astrid to a gleaming international businessman's hotel, then the chances are you just won't "get" this place. But if you can just imagine that some French friends have lent you their apartment in a very comfortable part of...

As a suite hotel, the rooms are large with a living room and a small bedroom. Well located, the hotel is however as charming as most suite hotels which is usually not very much. No safe in the rooms or tissues in bathroom are mind bugging in a supposedly 4 stars hotel. Internet, you have to pay for as most...

We had a huge, quiet 2 BR suite overlooking the courtyard & loved the space. The kitchen was outfitted with dishes and cutlery but no spices, coffee, etc., so of limited use, but bright and very clean. Very spacious living/dining room, nicely decorated, with balcony & large windows. The building is "older" as seen in the flooring, and bedcoverings are...

I stayed in La Reine Astrid on a weekend trip to Lyon in September 2009 (39 yr old Londoner who always stays in good quality, clean, friendly and modern hotels). The hotel is in a quieter neighbourhood but don't let that put you off as you are a short (15 min) walk into the bustle of the city, and only...
