The hotel has a good position overlooking the city centre, but is up lots of steps from the quayside with no metro stations anywhere near. It has private parking (not cheap). Our room had large with its own balcony; good bathroom. But the practical details were very poorly thought out. There were almost no power points, certainly none near the...

I love this hotel, it's full of character and just stunning. Very traditional and has great rooms, fantastic breakfast. Views across Lyon are beautiful, staff are so good. Helpful, polite and nothing is too much trouble. This is my most favourite hotel in France, hard to fault and always somewhere I can't wait to go back

The Villa is a beautifully-restored former convent. The nuns never lived like this! It is multi-level, certainly ancient in its interesting layout, and a beautiful place. The staff is amazing - we overtipped the concierge and the front desk staff when we left, they had been so consistently helpful and pleasant. The room was nice, the bed was great, but......

This is a gem overlooking the old city of LYON. The rooms are wonderful and the view from our terrace was postcard perfect. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. They gave us wonderful recommendations for walking tours and they also sent us to two incredible bouchards for dinner...both were ten out of ten!! This is a special hotel and...

I had accidentally reserved my stay for the wrong Thursday, once I realized I called to let them know. Since it was within 24 hours they refused to refund my card, even though the hotel had plenty of occupancy. I explained to them I still wanted to come but only the following week, but the agent from Hotels.com toild me...

If you like to be in special places , go and try this hotel. It was a Chapel and a kind of monastery for nuns. The Lobby and reception area still shows the chruch shape and the tribu where the nuns used to pray. It is a wonderful Lobby. From the time you arrive till the time you leave ,...

A really nice hotel, the rooms we stayed in have nothing to do with the ones in the pictures, so I assume there is a new renovated part. The staff are the most friendly we have ever seen, you truly feel at home. The rooms are quite spacious, mine had a great view of the city and the main church....
