Always enjoy an evening here, both the fish and meat restaurants work (keep clear of the tables near the door in Winter). Nice selection of wine, altogether an nice Haute Savoie evening. Especially if it is snowing outside.

We had a perfect ski vacation in Megeve. This charming hotel is in the heart of Megeve, quite close to a ski lift and a ski bus. The three restaurants associated with the hotel and included in the half board price are wonderful spots for dinner.

We stayed for 3 nights for a long weekend of skiing and had a wonderful time. Very cosy, rustic hotel with excellent service (they booked restaurants, taxis, ski hire) and brilliant location 5 mins walk from the ski lift. We would definitely go back. The only negative is that they charge 25 EUR per person for breakfast, but there's an...

This is an above-average hotel in Megeve. The rooms were good , the staff were courteous and helpful, and the breakfast buffet included, among other things, a variety of delicious breads, cheeses, boiled eggs, and fruits. The ski lift is a 3-minute walk from here. I do recommend this hotel and it gets good marks in all major categories. However,...

All very nice and charming (if expensive), but here's what they need to improve on: 1 breakfast room in the bunker like basement (no light or views) not really good enough. 2 foam filled synthetic pillows are not acceptable. 3 gym in basement is clapped out and needs replacing or scrapping. 4 bathrooms are a bit basic, especially the showers....

We have just returned from a week long ski trip staying at the hotel. We had an amazing time. The staff were professional, courteous and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Housekeeping were amazing and took great pride in their work. The food was excellent in both restaurants, we usually alternated each evening and could find no fault, only...

... the garage is too limited to accommodate four cars - paying 15 euro a day for the privilege. What is more the night staff cannot be trusted to help you park your car, if you arrive late. He offered to help me park the car, and directed me to turn off the car's parking guides. Subsequently he wanted me...

Dear Madam, I just read your comments regarding your stay among us during last Christmas. However, regarding the damage on your car, I can only confirm what I had already confirmed to you during your stay: you did not...

We were in for dinner three times during our stay in Megeve. The staff were exceptionally charming and helpful and food was delicious. The hotel is a beautiful chalet on a fairly busy cornerat the end of the pedestrian area. There are two Restaurants - we only visited The Trappeur. The Hotel itself is warm welcoming and very Alpine.

Just spend a long weekend here. The staff are delightful. The location couldn't be more perfect for a weekend ski break. The breakfasts are very good, plenty of choice and the restaurants are very good, packed at the weekends. I don't understand the bad reviews on this hotel as I certainly don't have anything negative to say. One person seems...

We decided one week ago to book a long weekend in Megeve. Luckily we found a room in Chalet St George's. Not cheap but eye for detail and very friendly staff. Good plan to stay!
