This place does simple really well. The rooms are incredibly comfortable, spacious and nicely decorated. The power shower is what you need after a day in the slopes. The people who run it are really lovely and very helpful. You couldn't be better placed when it comes to accessing the lifts and what Val D'Isere has to offer at night.

I've just returned home from Val d'Isere where I enjoyed my third stay at La Galise. The hotel is beautiful and has a lovely cosy feel to it. All of the staff are fantastic, so helpful and friendly. The rooms are a good size, with plenty of storage and a comfortable bed. The breakfast is great - your usual French...

We stayed at Hotel Galise over Easter 2015, and I couldn't fault a single aspect of the stay. Thibaut, Magali and their staff go out of their way to make you welcome, and nothing is too much trouble. The room was simple, but well appointed - with lots of nice thoughtful touches (like plenty of hooks to hang ski gear...

This is the perfect hotel to get close to the piste in Val without spending a fortune. If what matters to you is a great location, friendly staff, clean and tastefully decorated rooms and a filling breakfast this is the place for you. There are no frills, no bar, no leisure facilities but there's so many places you can go...

Cons: None! Pros: Great location in the center of town. Also, quiet in spite of the bar below the hotel. Pleasant, efficient and motivated staff. Clean rooms, restaurant, and lobby. Charming design details. Our room (13) was recently renovated. Room was big enough for two and ski gear. Beds were firm and comfortable. There is a ski storage room with...

This hotel was absolutely perfect. We struggled to find somewhere that would let us stay for 5 nights only and this hotel were happy to accommodate and had very reasonable mid season prices too. It's conveniently located right in the middle of town and you can literally ski back to the hotel from the slopes. The room was comfortable and...

Our family stayed in early January 2014. The hotel was well place in the centre of the village. All staff were very helpful. We really enjoyed the breakfasts and a drink at the Alexandra bar below. We would recommend this hotel to other for good facilities at a reasonable price by Val d'Isere standards.

This hotel is located right in the center of Val d'Isère close to the old church and a few minutes walk to the start of gondolas lifts to Solaise and Bellevarde. A very enjoyable location !
