This hotel was chosen for me by Magellan motor cycle tours. I couldn't have asked for a better location. The hotel staff are friendly, accommodation and friendly. The food has been outstanding, and the service always with a smile. The room was clear, the bed very comfortable and the shower powerful. A delightful combination. I shall definitly be returning!! If...

We had an overnight stay at this guesthouse as part of a motorbike tour of Europe. It is perfectly located at the starting point of the B500. Its a great family run hotel that serves good traditional food and has a beautiful beer garden to sit and enjoy the local beers in the sunshine. Ample parking at its rear. The...

I stayed here for a night and was not disappointed. The room I had was big and roomy and clean. The owners and staff were all very friendly and helpful. They allowed us to park our bikes in their garage and also advised us of the road closures that were on our route the next day. That evening we had...

We were hiking around the Black forest and spontaneously decided to stay in the area rather than continue with our travels. We passed by Gasthaus Auerhahn and decided to enquire inside for possibilities. Immediately we were informed that they indeed had a vacancy that night and we were welcome to stay, they had no issue with us having a pet...

Certainly a place you can stay in but pretty aged. Not sure whether the price value ratio is good but given the location close to Baden-Baden and Winter season, you may have to accept a premium. I would come back but don't expect anything special.

Well unusually I'm really not sure on how to rate our stay here. The hotel is on a fairly busy road but there is adequate parking. The rooms are reasonably, but the breakfast was very ordinary. On the other hand dinner was in the adjoining courtyard under trees. Very lovely setting and good food. It was nearly 40 C when...

We visit Baden Baden with friends and decide to stay at Auerhahn. This Gasthaus is almost 5 min out of the town (by car) in a quiet place with large rooms, was very clean, the personnel was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was very good (need some improvements), wifi was ok, good value for money and has also a very...

At Gasthaus Auerhahn you get exactly what you pay for and pay exactly for what you get. Clean comfortable room very functional, clean and without a trace of charm. Very good breakfast and a lovely garden restaurant. Very good and prompt service and again without a trace of smile. It is outside the center so you will need a car....

For American tourists, this hotel is a good choice. The staff speaks English, is friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean, well appointed, comfortable and located in a village just south of Baden-Baden. A great jumping off point to visit the Black Forest which is just south of this hotel. The hotel's breakfast buffet was excellent and the service was...

We chose Gasthaus Auerhahn after being forced to leave our previous--and wonderful--hotel because we had not made reservations and it will fully booked after our first night. Expecting a considerable step down we were instead highly pleased. Our room was decent sized and nicely furnished. Mattresses and linens were very comfortable. The bath was also of decent size. For whatever...
