We have spent 2 nights in Waldcafe in a family room. Everything was running perfect. The reception was very friendly and accurate. The furniture is very new and the place was very clean. The room was just the right size to accommodate the four of us. The service is delighting and the team can speak English that serves the purpose.... More

The local bus takes 10 minutes to town and it takes 20 minutes to walk if you visit town without your car. A taxi cost €11,00and this location in the woods is just perfect. We stayed here for 2 nights and loved every minute of it. Such frindly people and what a super service they provide. The cafe' serves really... More

I am in love with their poppyseed/cheese/cherry cake....as well as with the lovely people, atmosphere and all the other food. But please, go for the cake. We stay in Baden Baden city center and take a short bus ride up to the Merkur. The Waldcafe is a short walk from there, in fact the bus stops at Waldcafe too.

We loved one week stay at Waldcafe. Everything about this B&B was perfect. Ideally located and owned by great hosts!!! I would recommend this place to anyone who likes to be with nature. The views from mountain top are amazing. The hotel is only 2 kms from the city but the local bus stops right at its doorstep. The only... More

we did want to stay in the busy city center, so this place was so nice. 10 minute out of city, edge of the forest, literally 3 steps onto a forest trail from the rear garden area. busy little business, with nice drink / eating area outside, great dinner inside, fun all around. great room with nice balcony of forest... The breakfasts were amazing as was the food in the restaurant, there was nothing we ate that dissapointed. Just spent 7 nights with my wife at Waldcafe and we really could find no fault with the accommodation or the level of service. Each and every member of staff was efficient and welcoming and by the end of our stay we felt like 'one of the family. Peter, the proprietor, served us breakfast personally and is a really pleasant... More

If you read reviews of German hotels or sometimes restaurants, words like "comfortable" or "cozy" occur rather frequently. "Cozy," "comfortable" is a term that Germans often use when they want to refer to a place as "gemütlich"! And, this hotel in the hills of Baden-Baden really captures that experience. As others have noted, the Seifermann family are wonderful hosts in... More

Four of us had a Black Forest holiday and we stayed at the Waldcafe for the last two days before flying back to the UK from Strasbourg. We had found that the hotels in Baden Baden were quite busy and read the reviews for the Waldcafe and decided to stay there. Our only concern that it would be a bit... More
