We stopped here after visiting the waterfall and had a very nice evening. It's a very cozy place serving traditional dishes: if you, like me, have a German grandmother, you will feel just like you are having a relaxing family meal at her house.

My stay at the Pfaff was unplanned, but a welcome alternative to driving back to my Germany residence while it was snowing. The previous night I had stayed at the Wehrle, with nothing but regret for having done so, and so part of my opinion about the Pfaff is necessarily conditioned upon the horrible experience I had at Wehrle, but...

I am on a road trip with a friend. We started it off on the Black Forest and we decided to book this hotel due to trip advisor reviews. It's been very disappointing since I was expecting a better care. We arrived late on a Sunday for what I asked if they knew where to buy shower gel as there...

We Stayed for 2 nights at the Hotel and ate a lunch and dinner on our last day. The rooms were a little small but homey, so it wasn't a big deal. The Balcony overlooking the entrance of the Waterfall was nice. No AC but with the large windows open for a wonderful breeze. There is a sign out front...

After a long day of traveling, everyone recommended this place. After a little longer then average wait our drink our came. I ordered "hot" chocolate, when it arrived, it was filled with so much cold whip cream that when I finally reached the hot chocolate , it was cold and very little. Not a great start. Then a very abrupt...

We stopped in for dinner after purchasing our cuckoo clock, based on the recommendation of a local. Dinner started at 6pm that night (may be the case every night?). We had the place to ourselves at first. The atmosphere is very warm and cozy. Our food was delicious (the best we had up until that point in our vacation). We...

We drove to Triberg specifically to purchase a cuckoo clock. While there we stopped at the Hotel Restaurant Pfaff to have a traditional German lunch. We ordered the brats which were very good. We also ordered the Black Forest cake. The waitress asked if we wanted the traditional or the one with the cherry juice. We ordered the traditional. The...

At Triberg there is plenty to eat, see and but within a small picturesque area. We walked around and liked Pfaff instantly for its half timbre construction and yellow umbrellas. The terrace overlooks the entrance to the waterfall and the Black Forest! We ordered the one and only beer available - Furstenburg , venison with cranberry sauce (with real cranberries)...
