At the height of summer many places are fully booked or expensive. This place is more reasonable and if you ignore the lack of fancy lobby then its a perfectly pleasant and friendly little hotel. Weird security system (required 3 keys) because it shares the building with a bank. First hotel in Germany that offers a kettle! Thumbs up for... More

Location is good, along the main road in Triberg and there are many eateries nearby. It is also close to the waterfalls. Room does not have air conditioning but it is cooling at night. However, the whole toilet gets wet when you bathe since there is only a curtain separating the shower from the rest of the toilet. There was... More

Five stars for a clean comfortable room with friendly service. The hotel is on the top floor of a bank - Sparkasse. It's a 15 minute walk from the station- uphill (follow signs for the waterfall). The main entry to the bank is locked after 7.30pm but guests can enter via a door on the right hand side. The hotel... More

This hotel is in a perfect location for visiting Triberg. As many reviews have mentioned, it is a bit of an uphill distance from the train station to walk if you have luggage. Without luggage, the walk is fine. (If you arrive at the Triberg station on a Saturday, like we did, you will want to have taxi phone numbers... More

Had trouble finding the hotel. Top floor of like an office building (dentist on floor beneath). After figuring out the location everything went smoothly. Free parking nearby. Nice balcony overlooking the main street. Short walk to the falls. Beautiful breakfast room with ample choices (included in the price). Door handle to our room was hard to work. Room was clean.... Having been booked through our mountainbike tour agence we had no idea what to expect. The picture made it look like a large commercial hotel. Glad to find out it is a small comfy cosy hotel on the top floor. Excellent spaced room tidy and clean. Our room was at the backside of the building and still has an amazing... More

We arrived unexpectantly in Triberg after camping for 2 weeks in Germany and Austria and getting rained out the day before, and therefore arrived here without accommodation booked. We visited the very helpful Tourist Information who suggested we stay here. Great large rooms with ensuite bathrooms, right in the middle of Triberg and a super breakfast included which consisted of... More

This hotel has the best location on the main street though town. Our room was very quiet and had a great balcony. The staff were very friendly and the room we had was very affordable. We ended up staying here 2 nights instead of 1 night because it was a great base for driving through the Black Forest. Within easy... More

Right in the middle of Triberg, walking distance to everything, the famous House of 1000 clocks and the walking tracks through the Black Forest. We had a room with a view overlooking the main street it was lovely to sit on the balcony in the late afternoon. I would recommend a room with a balcony. The breakfast room also has... More
