We stayed at the apartments/suites associated with Bayricher Hof and I must say I was thoroughly impressed. The apartment was wonderful. Beautiful view of the castle and mountains from the balcony on the top floor and it was extremely clean. We have stayed at other apartments in other countries and this has been the best thus far. The location was... More

I booked 2 Deluxe Apartment and almost everything was perfect. Positives: - Great location next to Bismarckplatz and Hauptstraße - Friendly and helpful staff - Comfortable - Free Wifi Negatives: - Cleaning the apartments was not for free - Value of money - No AC (It was hot during summer)

Right in the middle of the action! Walk along the Neckar River, Heidelberg Castle a short bus ride away (take the 3 from across the street). Try the Mediterranean food place just downstairs, there's even a McDonald's across the street. The pedestrian area with shopping and restaurants is a 2-minute walk. The buffet breakfast is HUGE with plenty of variety.... More

Great location on Bismarck platz, near trams, beside main street, nice walk to castle. However rooms in front on lower floors are noisy because trams start early and finish late. Rooms at back are very quiet. Attic room was very comfortable for one, slanty rooftop might be a bit of a problem for two people. Nice desk area. Didn't like... More

The hotel was exactly what I had hoped for as a base for hiking in the Heidelberg area. It was clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was well located for visiting the old town.

This great property is just a short walk from the center of old town Heidelberg. It is wonderfully updated with a great staff. We were very comfortable and loved the bath area in our room. Although there was street noise, as we slept with open windows, we had no problem sleeping! A very nice breakfast was served in a lower... More

I've no idea why some people have given poor reviews. The hotel is right next to Haupstrasse, and just a small walk from the old town centre. Public transport is situated directly opposite at Bismarkplatz. The recep[tion staff is superb.

The hotel room was really nice, people at the reception are really friendly and helpful. The breakfast is really good and there is a lot of service. The bathroom is need and and everything is present. The only thing is that my shower was broken upon arrival and it took a while before this was fixed. Further on a very... More

I booked a double room and stayed for 5 nights. The room and bathrooms were spacious, clean, with everything essential and functional. Bed was confortable. The only downside is the quite noisy street if your room is facing it and you keep the windows open. otherwise no problem since they are well insulated. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast.

Within walking distance anywhere in the city, on the edge of the old city but without the noise, even though it's on the main square in town. Really nice breakfast, small but pleasant rooms, which got a bit hot in summer. Do note that if you cancel part of your stay they charge you 90% anyway. Oh well. All in... More
