This charming and simple hotel was spotless. We had room 6 and it was spacious for 3 adults. If you have a car ask at the front desk for the cheapest parking garage-which happens to be very close. Many of the historic and charming hotels don't have elevators so take that into consideration when making your reservation if you have... More

Our room was small and simple but comfortable and very peaceful. We were lucky to have one of the rooms with a view of the looming castle. Everything was fresh and clean and th buffet breakfast (9 eurs extra) was adequate. We particularly enjoyed the fresh fruit salad. Restaurants that the hotel staff recommended were close-by and good. Nothing is... More

I have visited the city of Heidelberg on multiple occasions. On each visit, I have booked this hotel and have not made any negative experiences whatsoever. The location was simply stunning and the hotel staff were always willing to help. The rooms were neat and tidy and definitely worth more than what I paid. The breakfast offered a great variety... Simple but comfortable room. Nice breakfast. Best thing is the location though. You're right in the centre of the old town and everything including the castle railway is just a few steps away. Great choice of restaurants and bars in the vicinity. Close to the Neckar river and the old bridge too. We took several long walks from the hotel... More

This Bed and Breakfast is really cool. Located in the old town centre, two minutes to the right: the bridge and river. Two minutes to the opposite direction: the entrance of the funicular and the walk way up to the Schloss. There are shops, cafes and a little supermarket just across the town square and around. Bus stop in front... More

No elevator. Carried luggage up winding staircase to 3rd floor rear room which overlooked scaffolding. Hotel had plastic runners on the floor which was probably due to renovation. Unappealing and the manager was indifferent and unfriendly, certainly not like other hotels in the area. The nice thing they did was to let us out of our reservation.

The hotel is very central, 1min walk to the Main Street with all the shops. About 7 min walk to the river Neckar and beautiful bridge. The rooms are charming, relatively big and very clean with comfortable beds! The breakfast buffet was also better than expected with varied selection of breads and fresh fruit. The staff was also very friendly... More

We had a room facing the interior, so no views. It was comfortable, with an enormous bathroom (probably larger than we needed) that had both a bath tub and shower. No elevator. The location is excellent but there is no parking on site, so add another 15 or so euros to the price of your stay. We felt that at... More

I need to preface this review by stating that my family never actually stayed at this property. Having been put in charge of event planning for a group of 100 people, I was very excited to make their travel arrangements in what is one of Germany's most beautiful and friendly cities. The Kornmarkt is within walking distance of Heidelberg Castle... More

Booked a "family" room for 4, the room was nice, beds comfortable, but only one chair, seems odd for a room intended for four people. Service was friendly. Breakfast good but expensive ( 9 euro/person). Fantastic location in the altstadt, a 13 euro cab ride from the Bahnhof.
